I was a huge fan of The sixth sense, ever since I saw that movie I was happy to hear of any other M. Night Shymalan projects getting the green light. However after seeing a few of his latest projects under perform I'm not to fired up about M. Night taking the reins of Avatar The Last Airbender.
The cartoon reminded me of the great cartoons of the 80's and I felt like a kid watching them. The series ended prematurely, even after Aang defeated The Fire Lord the series could have kept going. It's as if the writers introduced us to a whole new world, got us involved with the right amount of character development and right after the first bang we got it taken away from us. Not to cool.
This is another property that needs to be handled with care and receive the proper movie treatment. M. Night's anti action approach in his movies are well known. Having no action in The Last Airbender would make no sense at all. Either way Producer Frank Marshall has confirmed via twitter we will get our first glimpse of M. Night Shyamalan's Avatar The Last Airbender movie trailer when we all go see Transformers ROTF. If the trailer is available before hand I will do my best to post. On pins and needles waiting to see this trailer, hoping it's not to far off from the source.
