Fred Tatasciore Teases That INVINCIBLE Season 2 Part 2 Is Only Going To Get "Weirder And Weirder"

Fred Tatasciore, who voices many characters in Amazon's adaptation of Robert Kirkman's Invincible comic book series, has revealed that the second half of season 2 will be quite odd.

Legendary voice actor Fred Tatasciore, who portrays multiple characters on Prime Video's animated adaption of Invincible, has revealed in a new interview that the second half of season 2 will  get pretty strange.

Specifically, Tatasciore said that the show will give more attention to some unexpected characters, such as Marvin the Martian (not the one you're thinking about) and Atomic Eve's father.

Said Tatasciore, "I’m just trying to think of anything else I know…One of the great things I enjoy is I played, he’s not a Martian, but it’s Marvin. But I always, we’re like, 'It’s Marvin the Martian.' [The show] continues on [with] random stuff, you know what I mean? It’s continued on Eve’s dad and…you’re like, 'Even in the second season?'

Fans of Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley's comic book series can attest that a very unexpected reward awaits for viewers that are keeping up with the seemingly insignificant minor details and characters in the show.

However, before that payout occurs, Tatasciore teased that the show will continue to explore even more bizarre and strange side roads. He's essentially advising fans to stick with the show even though it might appear as if some scenes or characters are pointless.

"All I’m gonna say to you is it’s gonna get weirder. It’s just gonna get weirder, and weirder, and weirder, and fun, in a good way. Just in general, it’s a lot of crazy aliens, I’ll say that."

Amazon previously confirmed that voice recordings for season 3 are already complete, ensuring that the wait between seasons will be much shorter, moving forward.

Invincible Season 2 Synopsis:
Based on the groundbreaking comic book by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley, the story revolves around 18-year-old Mark Grayson, who’s just like every other guy his age—except his father is (or was) the most powerful superhero on the planet. Still reeling from Nolan’s betrayal in Season 1, Mark struggles to rebuild his life as he faces a host of new threats, all while battling his greatest fear - that he might become his father without even knowing it.

Starring Steven Yeun, with Sandra Oh, Zazie Beetz, Grey DeLisle, Chris Diamantopoulos, Walton Goggins, Gillian Jacobs, Jason Mantzoukas, Ross Marquand, Khary Payton, Zachary Quinto, Andrew Rannells, Kevin Michael Richardson, Seth Rogen, and J.K. Simmons.

Joining the Season 2 cast are Sterling K. Brown, Peter Cullen, Rob Delaney, Calista Flockhart, Phil LaMarr, Luke MacFarlane, Tatiana Maslany, Scott McNairy, Jay Pharoah, Ella Purnell, Tim Robinson, Ben Schwartz, Rhea Seehorn, Lea Thompson, Paul F. Tompkins, Shantel VanSanten, and more.

The executive producers are Kirkman, Catherine Winder, David Alpert, Simon Racioppa, Margaret M. Dean, Rogen, and Evan Goldberg, and the co-executive producers are Helen Leigh and Walker.

Still no word on exactly when it’s coming back? All I can find is early 2024. 🤷‍♂️

I know it was a different time and a different show and a different platform. But when the walking dead used to do this (stop at thanksgiving and return in the early spring/late winter) they would lose a solid chunk of viewers.

This feels like they're doing the same thing albeit I dont think they will lose as many viewers because everyone new to invincible is hella invested in the story. I still think it's a bad move because what it'll just be 4 more episodes and then done for the entire year until the fall again?

8 episodes being spread over half a year is bad. Kills all momentum.

The midseason break really sucks when there's only 8 episodes. They could at least give us a set date for the second half.

The first batch of season 2 episodes, before the first one, was less weird than many season 1 episodes. As a lot of other people have said, the mid season break is lame.

Still way better than anything the MCU puts on D+.

Hopefully all the rest of the episodes will be released at the same time, because I've waited long enough to watch the last few.

Wow. An article on Invincible. That’s rare in these waters.

Good show, but I don’t get the season break. It’s a simple animation style and only 8 episodes total.
