First Trailer For THE BOYS Season 4 Sees Butcher And Homelander Ready To Take Their Vicious Fight To New Lows

Prime Video will soon unleash another bonkers season of The Boys and we have our first look at Homelander and Butcher's titanic struggle turning political.

Prime Video has released the first trailer for The Boys season 4 and it certainly looks as if the epic struggle between Homelander and Butcher is showing no signs of slowing down.

Created by  Eric Kripke in 2019, The Boys has become one of the streamer's most important programs, with two successful spinoffs under its belt including Gen V and The Boys Presents: Diabolical. A third spinoff, The Boys: Mexico, was also just announced a few days ago.

In season 4, it seems Butcher doesn't have long to live but we're guessing that's only going to make him all the more desperate to take Homelander down, once and for all.

As usual, Hughie and Starlight will be caught in the crossfire, torn between going along with Butcher's "by any means necessary" tactics and the ever-present danger of Homelander deciding to throw caution to the wind.

The teaser also reveals that the Homelander-controlled Victoria Neuman is dangerously close to gaining the top seat in the Oval Office.

Joining the show in supporting roles in season 4 are Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Rosemarie DeWitt, Rob Benedict, and Elliot Knight.

There's no exact premiere date for season 4 just yet but Prime Video is committing to a 2024 release. Previously, Kripke told Variety, "...most of the editing is done, we're now deep into the music and visual effects. Marketing is starting to taxi their planes on the runway. There's a lot happening behind the scenes of The Boys Season 4, I can say that."

The Boys Season 4 Official Synopsis:
The world is on the brink. Victoria Neuman is closer than ever to the Oval Office and under the muscly thumb of Homelander, who is consolidating his power. Butcher, with only months to live, has lost Becca’s son as well as his job as The Boys’ leader. The rest of the team are fed up with his lies. With the stakes higher than ever, they have to find a way to work together and save the world before it’s too late.

Starring Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, Colby Minifie, Claudia Doumit, and Cameron Crovetti, and welcoming Susan Heyward, Valorie Curry, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan, The Boys Season 4 premieres 2024.

The boys is an irreverent take on what happens when superheroes, who are as popular as celebrities, as influential as politicians and as revered as Gods, abuse their superpowers rather than use them for good. It's the powerless against the super powerful as The Boys embark on a heroic quest to expose the truth about “The Seven,” and their formidable Vought backing.

The show is incredible and has relevant commentary about a self absorbed blonde fascist that has dictator aspirations and a cult following that sees he can do nothing wrong. It's a great show👮🖖💪💯🔥

Looks great♥️

@AmazingFILMporg - modern conservatives will cry you a river and call you a snowflake for making fun of them. The vitriol against the show when they realized what it was about was hilarious to see. The anti Nazi stance of the show was always there and yet these numbskulls only saw it once the show threw it in their faces.

Media literacy isn't their strong suit.

note: no hate against "all" conservatives; just modern ones incapable of seeing what they have become. While I'm more on the liberal side it needs conservatives voices for a balanced society, these days I'm missing the constructive conservative voices though.

@Blergh -

It was very odd that they barely saw what the show was trying to say until the third season.

It reminds me of how south park mocks them but they don't see it because they only see the surface level.

They don't realize the fact that seeing Cartman as a hero is a reflection of how morally bankrupt they are🤡

@AmazingFILMporg - right? It's especially weird with South Park because they poke fun at EVERYTHING.
Left, right, middle and whatever is in between is mocked merciflessly and some of these folks believe they're the only thing that ISN'T mocked?

But with the Boys it was just a glorious meltdown in season 2 when they realized that Stormfront was, in fact, the villain.
But to some that still didn't spell it out clear enough because she was a female Nazi.
First when Homelander became a clear Trump parody they got it.

@marvel72 - Thought you were UK, British conservatives and American conservatives are entirely different things even if some obvious overlaps...

...cultists of any given populist leader is a whole other subset of any given political side.

If you are not part of the cultish behavious blindly supporting the specified populist then they are not taling about you and shouldn't take it to heart if they are percieved as attackin said group.

Conservative leaning moderate myself but also UK so, the dividing line is different to that in America (thus probably considered he normal left leaning labels).

@marvel72 - I love how the two or three remaining woke cultists in this site seem to realize they’re an species at this point, and just keep embarrassing themselves while the rest of us laugh and eat our popcorn.

@Elle79 - Tell me about it,The Woke Cultists in here feel that they are a better person because of their progressive views.

Personally I think people have had enough of being preached to and being told to just accept it.
Time to speak up and not be afraid of saying what you really think.

Yeah Boi, Bring it on!!!!

I literally just caught up watching all of Season 3 this past week and this is show is still the BEST translation of a comic book to a live action series!!! Actually, it's BETTER than the comic, because the comic was crap!!!

I always been one to place the source material over these shows or movies, but this is the exception to that rule.

Apophis71 - 12/2/2023, 4:23 PM
@Nomis929 - Not being comic accurate is it's strenth not it's weakness, my ONLY gripe has been at times felt over reliant on gore porn at times but still love it all the same.

Season 1 was a 9/10
Season 2 maybe a 6.5/10
Season 3 7/10

This show fluctuates so much that I’m nervous for this season but no matter what homelander and butcher are [frick]ing amazing!
MyCoolYoung

@EZBeast - I thought season 2 was the best but 3 was a tad overrated. Still disappointed with soldier boy
EZBeast
EZBeast - 12/2/2023, 1:32 PM
@MyCoolYoung - season 2 was such a downgrade imo and felt like a chore to get through. Like I said butcher and homelander were absolute units and simply the best parts but everything else just downgraded like Jimmy and starlight were just annoying, I liked stormfront but they didn’t go anywhere with her, frenchie became a boring love struck puppy, and the deep and a-train ended their story exactly where it started so made it irrelevant…

S3 I loved soldier boy but absolutely agree they didn’t do enough with the character. Otherwise Jimmy was a slight improvement but overall still was annoying with starlight, hated what they did to black noir and how they ended Mav’s story. At least it was a slight improvement I felt.

I need season 4 to be epic!
Apophis71
Apophis71 - 12/2/2023, 4:26 PM
@EZBeast - Season 2 was certainly the weakest for me but I'd go 7/10. Third as a whole started out about on par with two for me but far stroner ending so more felt like an 8 by the climax with an average of 7.5
EZBeast
EZBeast - 12/2/2023, 5:47 PM
@Apophis71 - how do you like Mav’s ending? I probably would’ve given it an 8 had she essentially redeemed her arc with a heroic death but they played it safe…

@EZBeast - and yeh, Maeve should have died, better have a good reason setup for why they 'played it safe'.
