"It's the same shows that get nominated every year, right," countered "The Walking Dead's" Norman Reedus when responding to a question about the lack of Emmy nominations for AMC's zombie show which is cable most watched drama. The actor added that he thinks the awards ceremony is a bit of a popularity contest "in some ways."

"The zombie became sort of manageable at the end of last season and they're a little less manageable right now [during Season 4 filming] in a very clever way," said Norman. He also addresses whether Daryl and Carol are co-habitating in the limited space of the prison. Check for Reddus' answers in the video below.

I think it's time for TWD to update the publicity blurb. Many of those names, including the showrunners', are dead and eaten.

The acting is terrible, it only survives because its one of the only horror based shows, and zombies are still big. I'm sure it's only got a season or two left.

@JettJagguarr

You're taking the piss right? The first season of Arrow easily destroys the last two seasons of the Walking Dead, the first season was the only good one.

The acting is hardly bad. It is very good. That scene in season three when Rick looked at Carl after Lorrie died. Andrew Lincoln made that scene heart wrenching.

I love both TWD and Arrow. The Walking Dead was the No. 1 show of the season among adults 18-49.

Wait a minute, people are actually surprised it didn't get any Emmy nominations? Really? I've had to give up on this show twice after they made it abundantly clear there wasn't going to be any character or plot development.

The show has a lot of potential, but the writers keep messing it up every chance they get. I'm not surprised about the lack of awards.

He's spot on. Hollywood award shows are really just popularity contests. It's not about how good a TV show is. It's about who you know and how you can bribe them.

Wow, never knew their was so much hate for the series. I admit, the writing isn't GoTs quality but it's still better than 90% of the crap that's put on TV today.

When it comes to acting, Lincoln and Morrissey capture their roles perfectly.

At the least, Lincoln should have got a Best Actor nomination.
