The CW has released these awesome new promotional images from Episode 14 of Arrow. It's titled "Odyssey", and is reported to be very flashback-heavy. It also features the debut of Manu Bennett as 'Slade Wilson', the alter-ego of Deathstroke. Once again, be warned that the following images contain possible SPOILERS.

MANU BENNETT (“SPARTACUS”) GUEST STARS AS SLADE WILSON — After Oliver (Stephen Amell) is shot, he turns to a surprising person for help – Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards). Diggle (David Ramsey) is stunned when he sees Felicity walk through the front door of the lair dragging a dying Oliver behind her, and the two team up to save Oliver’s life. As Oliver (Stephen Amell) hovers between life and death, he flashes back to a seminal event on the island – a daring escape attempt with his new friend Slade Wilson (guest star Manu Bennett). Katie Cassidy, Willa Holland, Paul Blackthorne and Susanna Thompson also star. John Behring directed the episode with story by Greg Berlanti & Andrew Kreisberg and teleplay by Andrew Kreisberg and Marc Guggenheim (#114).

@Pheezmatic I hope you know that Slade Wilson aka Deathstroke the Terminator was created YEARS before Deadpool... Deadpool was created as a parody of Deathstroke and Spider-Man... If you don't do the research and look it up yourself then just don't comment. Please.

I don't know why, but I LOVE this damn show!

I'm pretty sure that we're going to learn that the man who tortured Oliver in episode 5 WASN'T Slade, but rather another special lackey for the villain-- a role that Slade used to fill, but has since been replaced in. That would explain why Slade wears a different uniform, but why he also has the Deathstroke mask (which it looks like he hasn't worn in a while). So the new guy replaced Slade as the villain's right-hand man, and he gets a Deathstroke mask (for whatever reason); meanwhile, Slade defects and lives the survivalist lifestyle in the wilderness on the island.

Also, it's awesome that they're letting the IT girl (whose name escapes me at the moment) in on Oliver's secret-- she's one of the most consistently-likable characters on the show.

I can't wait to see this!

Is it just me or does island-Ollie look more like comic-Ollie, especially in the fifth pic where he's looking over Deathstroke's shoulder?

So far, I'm really enjoying where this show is going. Although, at some point, I'd like to see a CB TV show actually stay true to it's source material in spirit, content, or both, Arrow is proving to be very entertaining.

I wonder where it would go if it lasts as long as Smallville did.

Considering how much they've already cracked the door into the DC Universe, where will they have gone by season 5, much less season 10?!

Especially considering they've already essentially banned super powers.
