Seemingly having his own professional drug lab (ala Breaking Bad), The Count (Seth Gabel) returns to Starling City and kidnaps Adam Donner (Dylan Bruce), but that's not the only thing the Arrow has to deal with next week!

Next week's Arrow features Moira Queen up against the big guns of the Starling City court. Will she get the death penalty? Also, Seth Gabel's version of Count Vertigo returns with a seemingly new way to create more of the Vertigo drug. Are you excited for Gabel's return?

MOIRA FIGHTS FOR HER LIFE; THE COUNT RETURNS — Oliver (Stephen Amell) is concerned when a mysterious illness sweeps the city, infecting hundreds of people, including Diggle (David Ramsey). Oliver discovers Vertigo in Diggle’s blood and realizes The Count (guest star Seth Gabel) has broken out of prison and is once again distributing his drug. Meanwhile, Moira (Susanna Thompson) goes on trial for her participation in the Undertaking. ADA Adam Donner (guest star Dylan Bruce) collapses in court with Vertigo symptoms so Laurel (Katie Cassidy) must step in and try the case against Moira. Oliver is torn between standing by his family during the trial and catching The Count. However, things change when Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) follows a lead and walks straight into a trap set by The Count. Bethany Rooney directed the episode written by Marc Guggenheim & Drew Z. Greenberg (#207).

So I guess it really was all an act by The Count and maybe he will find some piece of hypnosis tech for his next appearance after the STAR Labs particle accelerator goes haywire and the Arrow status quo changes. Either way, I'm glad there is more than just the trial going on in the next episode.

i liked The Count, he is the crazy and over the top villain of the show,i like that he is a drug dealer and Vertigo is his drug, though i wish they had done like he started out in Vlatava which is Count Vertigos country and i wish he had an accent but its fine

Season two has been awesome so far. Still hope they tie into the DCCU. I think after last night AOS I think we can all agree both Marvel and DC have decent shows on the air. Can't wait for both to start making even more.

YAY! The Count is back! I loved BOTH episodes he was in last season, though after the ending of the second one, I was sure we'd seen the last of his brain-damaged, psychotic ass. I guess even a complete neurological breakdown isn't enough to keep a good villain down...

I just hope they can justify his reappearance without invalidating those episodes. Maybe some heretofore nonexistent sci-fi element is responsible for his miraculous recovery-- to further strengthen the notion that this season is getting more into the fantastical side of comic books.

@Marxman: Nope-- Barry doesn't show up until S02E09 (and he'll stick around for S02E10, I hear).

'Course, he's just gonna be plain old Barry Allen for that two-parter... he won't become the Flash until S02E20, so we have a bit of a wait before we see any superspeed action.

@ BatmanRobin

Thanks for the link!

So that is great we have fixed one of three problems on this show.

1. Arrow needs a mask
2. Start calling him Green Arrow
3. Superpowers need to be introduced (not including the Flash).

I just started watching this show like a week ago because I was stuck in the hospital for 2 weeks (daughter, severe asthma attack, home now and healthy) I ran thru all the episodes pretty fast via Netflix and Hulu. I love the show and think they are doing a phenomenal job incorporating lots of DC villains. They have Deathstroke playing a prominent role in the series which I love and they also managed to use Deadshot, China White, Royal Flush Gang, Count Vertigo, Brother Blood, Huntress, Black Canary, Red Arrow, and the League of Assassins. I hope this show can have as many seasons as Smallville and they incorporate it into the DCCU. What I don’t like is how many blatant references and copies of The Dark Knight trilogy they use. I roll my eyes every time they do it. On the other hand this may be the best way to keep some of the mythos of that trilogy while making a completely new Batman.

Nooo! That actor that plays Vertigo is atrocious. He's cringingly bad. I just don't understand...he's been the worst villain on the show so far and he's like the only one they've kept alive and had come back for multiple episodes. I love Count Vertigo the character but this guy playing him has to go...it's like he's trying to do the worst Ledger Joker impression ever.
