VIDEO: See 'Harley Quinn's Brief ARROW Cameo

That's right puddin: the Joker's deranged paramour made a very brief cameo (or at least, her distinctive tones did) in tonight's episode of the CW's Arrow, voiced by Tara Strong. Could this set up future appearances? Check out the short vid after the jump.

The character is listed simply as "deranged Squad female", but I think it's pretty obvious who she's supposed to be. Would you like Strong to appear as the character in future episodes? Or would you rather Harley was relegated to just this one little cameo? Sound off in the usual place.

"CoolioVids101"

Having a Comic Book character cameo on a Comic Book TV show to tease a possible future with the Birds of Prey or The Suicide Squad is unnecessary?

"@Pedrito"

Have you not played the "Arkahms" same voice.

You know what would be better... not hiding your characters and forcing them into cameo spots to tease fans and instead giving us developed characters who are actually enjoyable to watch and have a proper motivation.

Alexa was just the body stand in, and Tara Strong provided the voice.

I am aware who Tara Strong is, I've met her before. I'm also a huge Harley Quinn fan. All I'm saying is, using her in a Suicide Squad cameo felt very forced. When I think Harley I think of Batman. She's not like Deathstroke or Ra's al Ghul who can be a threat to the entire DC Universe she has a very specific history. This just felt awkward to me. Also, since she was voiced over it seems unlikely we will see her again. She didn't need to be here. I want her done right, not done for just to have a Harley in live action

somebody here suggested Waller´s intentions with the Squad is to go to Gotham and chase after Batman, is that true?

That voice over work seemed a little off and didn't suit the body stand in. So is Arrow connected to the Arkham games now?

I'm with Coolio. Having a big name like Harley in the show for literally 3 seconds feels really out of place. I'm all for cameos when they don't seem forced, but to throw her into the show for a few seconds for no reason is unnecessary.

@CoolioVids101 it Was a nice Easter egg but I agree with you. Harley is synonymous with Bats so if you're gonna show her the Bats better be on the wAy. She needs to be done right. If you're gunna show her here she needs to reappear again. She's Harley [frick]in Quinn. She's a bit part of the DC universe. I was excited when I heard her cause I thought they're going to show her or bring her back. She gotta be done right she's not just for a cameo. But it was cool to hear the great Tara Strong be Harley for a short moment. BTAS CLASSIC!!! Those were the good ol' days.

Def a forced cameo. And the voice work was off like Tara strong didn't come on set and record but mailed a recording of herself or something.

I have a feeling Gotham will have nothing to do with Arrow. I dont know how tv works but different networks makes me think their is money issues at least. I know its still DC and WB but there are others involved.

Would have been good if they actually hired an actress to play her.

You know, the fact they didn't cast her makes me think that she may be in the next generation of Batman movies.

I thought it was great.
I think a lot of people are overreacting... big time. I mean Deathstroke is a Teen Titans villain who gradually branched out to Batman, Green Arrow, and the Justice League. Deadshot's a Suicide Squad veteran, but started with Batman.

All that, however, is kind of not on the table. She's part of the Suicide Squad in the new 52 comics apparently, and so they gave her a little vocal cameo.

You know what easter egg I liked? Ostrander hotel. Every MM fan should know who that is.
Gyasiman

You guys are crazy. As a Batman fan all my life, that cameo was so perfect. With BvS coming up, and Gothem being set 20 years before Bruce becomes the Bat, the movies and tv shows will almost NEVER get to her. Wouldn't you guys rather have her now, done this way by the people who havent failed us yet and who have given us characters like The Flash, Amanda Waller, and Slade Wilson? I sure would. And lets not forget in the comics, Harley is a current memebr of the Suicide Squad.

The cameo also set up SO much stuff without us realizing it. 1) We know that Batman exists now, as there is no Harley without Joker, and there is no Joker without Batman. 2) There's now a lot bigger chance that we'll see Batman family down the line. We know there's still a HUGE name drop coming, and we know Oliver wasn't the "first" vigilante. All evidence is pointing to either the Dark Knight himself or somebody reallllll close to him popping up. My guess is Dick Grayson or Jason Todd (episode 19 titled "Man Under The Hood"). People keep forgetting that the writers aren't stupid. There not gonna give us a character for like 3 seconds then never bring her back ever again. And even if they did, so what? At the least, we now know Harley AND the Joker now exist in this world.

I was really pretty let down with this episode. I was expecting a lot and just felt it didn't deliver. I kind of felt it was only one step above a Smallville type of episode and I've come to expect better from Arrow. That being said, the Harley cameo-thing-a-ma-jig was the only part I really got psyched about!

i hope DC in the movies and on TV, the characters tie up, the movies needs the push with this TV, other than that its death! for them
