WATCH: Relive The Awesome Final Battle Between 'The ARROW' And 'Ra's Al Ghul'

The season three finale of Arrow was far from perfect, but it did feature a pretty awesome fight scene between Oliver Queen and Ra's al Ghul. After the jump, you can relive that in full, but be warned that there are obviously major spoilers for the episode ahead...

Overall, I think it's fair to say that both season three and the finale of Arrow were a disappointment. The show introduced a lot of great plot points but failed to ever really capitalise on the majority of them, while the ending with Malcolm taking over the League of Assassins felt like the very definition of a cop out to avoid changing the status quo next season. Oh, and don't even get me started on that Olicity nonsense! Regardless, the final episode did feature a pretty amazing fight sequence between Oliver Queen and Ra's al Ghul, and you can watch it in its entirety below.

Would we say it was an "epic" fight? Huh.

way too short of a battle.

"Awesome" there is 0 variety in Arrow fights, everyone has the exact same fighting style and it's always shot in the exact same way. Camera from the distance, covered up faces so that we can't see the obvious stuntmen, it's boring to watch...

'Awesome'? Really? The hallway fight from season 1, the Deathstroke army fight from season 2 meet that qualification, this fight is something to expect from the first couple episodes off season not the finale.

Not to jump on the bandwagon but this season has been bipolar and dipped more to being straight up bad than good especially with random intros/exits from crappy/young Ted Grant and the underwhelming Australian Hobo Al Ghul. I'm really hoping as part of next season's opening they kill off Felicity like Bond's wife in On Her Majesty's Secret Service as a means of brining Ollie back.

It's stupid to have Oliver defeat Ra's one of the many problems with them adapting Batman's storyline to Green Arrow.

But is it just me, or have the fights been getting worse since Season 1?

This fight is awesome.

I think the crew slacked off. They need to develop his fighting style again.

Plus the story has been very generic this season. Full of cliche's and idiotic subplots.

Felicity has the worst "Secret Origin" EVER and her mom has to be the worse most cliche thing ever written.

Just to make it clear, I loved Arrow when it first came out. It was awesome because it kept surprising me.

I remember when we first found out Oliver's Mom was part of the underworld I was like, "Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat."

Honestly Arrow had great ideas to start with, but I think it's kinda lost it's way.

@superotherside

Eh, season 3's been a downer in terms of action. Not enough MMA grappling, using the environment and objects to damage your opponent, etc.

Not an awesome fight. Just good and yeah its bs for Ollie to defeat Ra's at anytime. Don't care if he had Malcolm to train him, he still can't beat Ra's nor Nyssa.

I honestly think this may have been the worst fight in the history of the show. It was sloppy, looked uncoordinated and slow. It was painfully clear when they were and weren't supposed to make contact with each other. I was really disappointed.

Naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw that fight was ass lol. It was like a dance real shit. Wish it was better. Best fight ever on this show was that deathstroke hallway fight

GhostDog - 5/17/2015, 7:27 AM
Only person who can beat Ra's is batman. You're telling me a guy like Ollie with only maybe 5 years of training some of which he barely got any real martial arts intense instruction, can beat a man who's been fighting for a century???

The fights on Daredevil rarely have any real threat. I'm sorry, Daredevil fights are straight brutal and I love arrow and wish it had that. Obviously, it being a network show dent help

lol, you call that "Epic"? There's been more convincing choreography in Xena Warrior Princess 10 years ago. That was worse than the Anakin vs Kenobi fight in Revenge of the Sith.

@COR3Y naaaaw batman is the only one worthy or capable. Arrow hasn't displayed any reason how Ollie has the combative powers or skill to defeat a deadly assail like ra's. And they've established he's been arundel for over a 100 years

What is this? People look at what amounts to a fight that's out of Oliver Queen's element and they criticise it and then show videos of other fights that are not necessarily applicable? You have to realize that the Arrow was fighting out of his element. He was going up against what amounts to a master swordsman. The arrow was trained using the bow and fighting in close quarters or on rough terrain where you had to use parkour as one of his skill sets. The fights that he had against Ras we're mainly in open terrain so parkour was not an option. Oliver was not very skilled with the sword, although he was good using escrema sticks in the past. In the second battle with Ras, he was better trained and he knew his every move. Unfortunately Ollie underestimated Ras' skill and got his sword broken. He over came that by using the element of surprise, mimicking the same manouver that Ras used on him months before. It was not his best fight, but it was the greatest fight of Oliver Queen's life.

This isn't Green Arrow, it's the Poor Man's Batman.
Bulldawg2014
Bulldawg2014 - 5/17/2015, 9:34 AM
@Dnno1 dude the choreography was horrible and the fight was impossible to follow because they were dressed identically. I don't give a crap about him killing ras, I just want it to look marginally realistic and impressive. Fight choreography isn't a budget dependent variable, therfore there is never an excuse for it being bad on a show like this.
