GOTHAM is an origin story of the great DC Comics Super-Villains and vigilantes, revealing an entirely new chapter that has never been told. From executive producer and writer Bruno Heller and executive producers Danny Cannon and John Stephens, GOTHAM follows the rise of Det. James Gordon (Ben McKenzie) through a dangerously corrupt city teetering between good and evil, and chronicles the birth of one of the most popular super heroes of our time. Gotham features:
Ben McKenzie as James Gordon

David Mazouz as Bruce Wayne
Sean Pertwee as Alfred Pennyworth

My roommate watches this and she said that Selina takes a magical seed that turns her into Catwoman...

I'll NEVER WATCH THIS SHOW but I'd love a documentary about just what exactly it is haha

@BlackBeltJones - is that any less believable than random alley cats licking and biteing someone and bringing them back to life, the seeds just bring out her inner darkness, so basically Batman Returns Catwoman

I'm passionately uninterested in this show for the exact same reasons I did and forever will dislike Smallville. It misuses and warps the characters, doing permanent damage to them by exploiting a new generation who don't know them.
Changing minor details in a character's story can be acceptable, but these series' go too far. Cat-Girl and Bat-Boy shouldn't be a thing.

@ImmovableForce - Well they arent Bat Boy and Cat girl, Selina has always been a theif, but she was also a theif from a young age so, thats accurate to the comics, and this is the final season of an origin show, so she needs to become catwoman. Bruce is not at batman level yet, he is still learning

@ImmovableForce - Funny-books are not religious texts. They have to be changed for live action. The issue is: Are the shows entertaining?

Smallville is very entertaining. Gotham is a cluster[frick]!
ImmovableForce
ImmovableForce - 1/10/2019, 8:00 PM
@ManDeth - They shouldn't know each other before he even becomes Batman is the main thing. That's what I meant.

Just here to remind everyone:

THIS IS ELSEWORLDS

This show was never intended to be a prequel or straight adaptation of the characters we all know and love.
dracula
dracula - 1/10/2019, 7:11 PM
@SKetCH - Exactly what ive been saying, if they said this was a prequel to the dark kight trilogy, it would make no sense, but its not, it takes aspects of every version of batman and mixes them together pretty well

Her face looks weird. I'd say it was plastic surgery, but she seems too young for that. Shrugs.

@Dabs - Her face is changing as she becomes an adult. If she's lucky, it won't change like Chloe Grace Moretz's face did. Moretz's face went the way of Haley Joel Osment's face.
