LEGENDS OF TOMORROW Promotes Courtney Ford To Series Regular For Season 4

It sounds like Nora Darhk's story is far from over as it's just been confirmed that Courtney Ford will indeed be back for Legends of Tomorrow season four as a series regular. Could she board the Waverider?

Deadline is reporting that The CW has upped Courtney Ford (Nora Darhk) to a series regular for the upcoming fourth season of DC's Legends of Tomorrow, which is set to premiere Monday, October 22.

Nora started last season as one of the primary antagonists, but following her father's (Neal McDonough) sacrifice in the season finale, she shifted allegiances to team up with Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh) and the Legends as they put an end to Mallus (John Noble) and his evil forces once and for all. While she was ultimately arrested by the Time Bureau, it was pretty clear that she wouldn't be staying in captivity for too long as Ray was able to gift her Damien's time stone before bidding farewell.

Further details on her arc next season remain under wraps for now, but with the series expected to take on a supernatural twist next season, it probably shouldn't come as a huge surprise that she's coming back to help out our heroes, although it's uncertain whether she'll board the Waverider and become an official Legend. It also remains to be seen whether the writers will further explore her potentially romantic dynamic with Ray, who is, of course, played by Ford's real-life husband Brandon Routh.

Ford is just the latest cast member to receive a promotion for the coming season, following Matt Ryan (John Constantine) and Jes Macallan (Ava Sharpe), who were both upped to series regulars earlier this year. Keiynan Lonsdale (Wally West) was also expected to return, but that's since changed as he's decided to pursue other creative endeavors. However, Lonsdale will appear as Kid Flash in the season five premiere of The Flash, so we should get some answers about his exit sooner than later.

After defeating the Legion of Doom, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow face a new existential threat created by their actions at the end of last season. By revisiting a moment in time they’d already participated in, they’ve essentially fractured the timeline and created anachronisms all across time! Our team must find a way to return all the anachronisms to their original timelines before the time stream falls apart. But before our Legends can jump back into action, Rip Hunter and his newly established Time Bureau call their methods into question and disband the team. Challenging the Time Bureau’s authority, they recruit a hacker from the future, Zari Tomaz and continue their time travelling shenanigans, while insisting that however messy their methods may be, some problems are beyond the Bureau’s capabilities. Some problems can only be fixed by Legends.

Legends Of Tomorrow features:
Brandon Routh as Dr. Ray Palmer/The Atom
Victor Garber as Professor Martin Stein/Firestorm
Caity Lotz as Sara Lance/White Canary
Franz Drameh as Jefferson "Jax" Jackson/Firestorm
Dominic Purcell as Mick Rory/Heat Wave

I love the legends because they are super hero team that actually feels like a super hero team and not everyone nails that.

More reason not to name Barry's daughter Nora. Now there are 3 characters in the Arrowverse all named Nora. And 2 of them are named Nora Allen.

@Origame - One of them's dead, though.

@GAThrawnIGF - Doesn't really matter since she keeps appearing anyway. Not to mention this is a problem that literally didn't need to exist since his daughter in the comics is Dawn Allen.

Hmm, interesting. Kind of thought her story had come to an end last season since Damien is dead... excited to see what her return means for S4!

@Krav - Nora has powers, at least. Unless she lost those when Mallus was defeated.

The totem she was given by Ray might help her in escaping the custody of the Time Bureau IIRC. Well at least the one she has in her possession will play a role somewhere.

Seems she will fill in Wally's place. I wished we could also get Jonah Hex aboard because he's great, has his own experiences with time travel and Zari and him had very adorkable sparks of chemistry in the final episode.

Nora looked great with the viking outfit, curious if she will get her own different one.

(And wow, now we have two Noras in Legends and Flash just like there was a "Rory" in Team Arrow with Rory Regan/Ragman and Mick Rory in Legends. We gotta work that out)
