Caity Lotz On Sara's Reaction To The JSA In LEGENDS OF TOMORROW Season 2

Even at the conclusion of their first season, the Legends of Tomorrow team were far from a well-oiled machine.  Add to that the fact that the Hawks are departing, along with Captain Cold and team chemistry will virtually have to be rebuilt from scratch by the time season 2 opens.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Caity Lotz revealed that her time in the League will give Sara a deep appreciation for how well the Justice Society of America executes missions.  "Sara’s never a fan of people who are too perfect and follow all the rules.  But Sara also has that military side to her, with organization and executing missions. They’re pretty good at that, so there’s a little bit of her that’s like,These people have got their sh#% together. But it’s also probably a little annoying, because they got their sh#% together and they know it."

Legends of Tomorrow season 2  premieres on Thursday, October 13 at 8/7c on The CW.

ABOUT WHITE CANARY

In DC Comics lore, White Canary is actually a Black Canary villain, the daughter of Rabbit, leader of the 12 Brothers in Silk (Rabbit and his 11 sons), villainous martial artists named after the signs of the Chinese Zodiac.  When the group is defeated at the hands of a group of heroes led by Black Canary, White Canary hunts her brothers down and kills them for dishonoring their father.  In a plot to exact revenge, White Canary kidnaps Dinah's adoptive daughter sin, and threatens to kill her unless Black Canary challenges and defeats Lady Shiva in a duel to the death.

White Canary debuted in Birds of Prey #83 (2005) and was created by Gail Simone and Ed Benes.

LEGENDS OF TOMORROW Season 2 Synopsis: After the defeat of the immortal villain Vandal Savage and the corrupt Time Masters who colluded with him, a new threat emerges. Dr. Nate Heywood (Nick Zano), an unconventional and charming historian, is thrust into the action upon making a shocking discovery – the Legends are scattered throughout time. Nate must find a way to rescue season one’s beloved team of heroes and rogues, including billionaire inventor Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh), who has created an exo-suit with the power to shrink him to miniscule size, as the Atom; Sara Lance (Caity Lotz), the White Canary, a trained assassin; Professor Martin Stein (Victor Garber) and Jefferson “Jax” Jackson (Franz Drameh), who together form the meta-human Firestorm; and Mick Rory (Dominic Purcell), aka Heat Wave, a career criminal. When the Legends encounter the J.S.A (the Justice Society of America, the precursor to DC’s Justice League) in the 1940s, Amaya Jiwe (Maisie Richardson-Sellers), aka Vixen, joins the team. While the team reunites, a mystery looms – the fate of former captain Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill).

Once reunited, the Legends continue their new mission to protect the timeline from temporal aberrations – unusual changes to history that spawn potentially catastrophic consequences. When Nate, the grandson of J.S.A. member Commander Steel, unexpectedly finds himself with powers, he must overcome his own insecurities and find the hero within himself. Ultimately, the Legends will clash with foes both past and present, to save the world from a mysterious new threat.

Loved Legends of Tomorrow season 1. I think its one of the best DC Shows ever made. And Caity was great as Sara and the White Canary. Can't wait to see the Justice Society and season 2 hope Hawkman returns

Legends of Tomorrow has a bad habit of breaking its own time travel rules.

My only complaint with LOT is Atom's costume. He looks too much like Iron Man or Ant-Man, making Ray Palmer appear more mechanical than human. I would love to see him in the Gil Kane-created original outfit or the early 80s Sword of the Atom soft reboot outfit.

Was a huge mistake they killed in in 1st epiosde if S3 in Arrow. Show never really recovered from that. She will always be Black Canary in my mind. Loved LOT and hope S2 is just as great.
