CRISIS ON EARTH-X: A Doomsday-Level Threat Is Teased In This New Promo For The Upcoming DC TV Crossover Event
After a pair of teasers, the CW has finally released a full 30-second promo for the upcoming four-part "Crisis on Earth-X" event, offering an extended look at the Doomsday-level threat our heroes face.
In one week, the biggest DC TV crossover of all-time begins and following all of those great photos we saw yesterday, the CW has released a brand new promo for the four-part "Crisis On Earth-X" event, featuring our best look yet at the villains from this alternate reality going toe-to-toe with our favorite heroes from Earth-1 and Earth-38.
The 30-second preview doesn't offer much in the way of plot details, but we do get a voiceover from presumably The Ray (Russell Tovey), who alerts his new allies about Overgirl, Dark Arrow, and Dark Flash being in the possession of a "Doomsday" weapon, which seemingly suggests that the crossover may, in fact, plan on introducing one of Superman's most destructive foes... although, it could also mean a variety of other things, so let's just stay tuned for more details as they come.
Watch the new promo below:
“Crisis on Earth X”
THE EPIC FOUR-WAY CROSSOVER WITH “ARROW,” “SUPERGIRL,” “THE FLASH” AND “DC’S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW” BEGINS — Barry (guest star Grant Gustin) and Iris’s (guest star Candice Patton) wedding brings the gang together, but things go awry when villains from Earth-X attack the ceremony. All of the superheroes band together with help from their super friends like Citizen Cold (guest star Wentworth Miller), The Ray (guest star Russell Tovey), Felicity Smoak (guest star Emily Bett Rickards), Iris West and Alex Danvers (Chyler Leigh) to take on their most formidable villains yet. Earth’s mightiest heroes – Green Arrow (guest star Stephen Amell), Supergirl (Melissa Benoist), The Flash (guest star Grant Gustin) and White Canary (guest star Caity Lotz) – lead their teams into battle to save the world.
