Last week saw not only the commencement of filming for CBS' Supergirl television pilot, but also an official look at the star Melissa Benoist in costume as Kara Zor-El. Now thanks to Superman Homepage, the actress has been spotted on the Los Angeles set in-between takes, and dressed in civvies, or rather her Kara Danvers disguise. Check out the pics below! What do you think?

The Supergirl pilot centers on Kara Zor-El, who was born on the planet Krypton, and escaped amid its destruction years ago. Since arriving on Earth, she’s been taken in by a foster family, the Danvers, who taught her to be careful with the extraordinary powers that she shares with her famous cousin, Superman. But now at age 24, she decides to embrace her superhuman abilities and be the hero she was always meant to be. The pilot stars Melissa Benoist, Chyler Leigh, Calista Flockhar, Mehcad Brooks, Jeremy Jordan, David Harewood, and Laura Benanti with Faran Tahir.
