New Extended Promo For SUPERGIRL Season 2 Episode 5: "Crossfire"

Last night's episode ended with a pretty major reveal as we learned that M'gann M'orzz wasn't exactly a green martian like J'onn J'onnz, but just like her comics counterpart, was in fact a white martian! Kara & the DEO haven't discovered her secret just yet, but when they inevitably do, it's something that should bring up a fair amount of mixed feelings, considering Kara's encounter with a deadly white martian last season. 

Next week's episode looks to shift the focus a little bit with the arrival of a dangerous new gang that's armed with lethal alien technology. With Kara seemingly outnumbered, Jimmy makes a major decision. Elsewhere, Mon-El begins an internship at CatCo and looks to be fitting in just smashingly. Check out the new extended promo below:

SUPERGIRL TAKES ON A RUTHLESS NEW GANG — Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) must beat a ruthless new gang who has been armed with dangerous new alien technology. When Cadmus sends a video to the DEO, the team realizes Cadmus is the one staffing the criminals for a secret mission. Meanwhile, Kara (Melissa Benoist) gets Mon-El (Chris Wood) a job as an intern at CatCo, James makes an important decision and Lena (Katie McGrath) invites Kara to attend one her fundraisers. Glen Winter directed the episode written by Gabriel Llanas & Anna Musky-Goldwyn (#205). Original airdate 11/7/2016.


The hour-long drama centers on Kara Zor-El, Superman's cousin, who was born on the planet Krypton and escaped amid its destruction years ago. Since arriving on Earth, she has been hiding the powers she shares with her famous cousin. But now at age 24, she decides to embrace her superhuman abilities and be the hero she was always meant to be.
