Last night's episode ended with a pretty major reveal as we learned that M'gann M'orzz wasn't exactly a green martian like J'onn J'onnz, but just like her comics counterpart, was in fact a white martian! Kara & the DEO haven't discovered her secret just yet, but when they inevitably do, it's something that should bring up a fair amount of mixed feelings, considering Kara's encounter with a deadly white martian last season.

Next week's episode looks to shift the focus a little bit with the arrival of a dangerous new gang that's armed with lethal alien technology. With Kara seemingly outnumbered, Jimmy makes a major decision. Elsewhere, Mon-El begins an internship at CatCo and looks to be fitting in just smashingly. Check out the new extended promo below:

“Crossfire”— (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (Content Rating TBD) (HDTV)

SUPERGIRL TAKES ON A RUTHLESS NEW GANG — Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) must beat a ruthless new gang who has been armed with dangerous new alien technology. Meanwhile, Kara (Melissa Benoist) gets Mon-El (Chris Wood) a job as an intern at CatCo, James makes an important decision and Lena (Katie McGrath) invites Kara to attend one her fundraisers. Glen Winter directed the episode written by Gabriel Llanas & Anna Musky-Goldwyn (#205). Original airdate 11/7/2016.

They have no idea what to do with Jimmy Olsen so they create anything to make him interesting. Just like Pete Ross smh.

Another ginger takes the back seat.

Shit storyline for Jimmy.

They just wanted an excuse to get the obviously attractive and buff Mechad Brooks to play a superhero because he looks like one....

That's why you should've casted him as Mal Duncan and not Jimmy. Just would've had Kara and Mal be an item. Ignore the comics on the romantic front.

Mon-el is nowhere near as strong as Supergirl according to Winn, yet he knocks her on her ass when he wakes from his coma. I like the show but whats with the inconsistent powers? One moment she can catch a space shuttle, the next a human can fight it out with her. Got super senses yet people sneak up on her all the time. Sloppy sloppy sloppy writing.
