The final week of The CW's DC TV slate for the 2016/2017 season is nearly upon us and in a bid to raise the excitement, The CW has released new extended trailers, with plenty of new footage, for Monday night's second season finale of Supergirl and Wednesday night's fifth season finale of Arrow.

The network has opted not to share anything from The Flash just yet as its finale is likely the most anticipated and spoiler-y of the bunch, especially with Iris' current predicament and a battle between Barry and Savitar looming.

Check out both extended trailers below:

"Nevertheless, She Persisted" - (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (Content Rating TBD) (HDTV)

SUPERGIRL FIGHTS FOR HER CITY; SUPERMAN RETURNS - Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) challenges Rhea (guest star Teri Hatcher) to battle to save National City. Meanwhile, Superman (guest star Tyler Hoechlin) returns and Cat Grant (guest star Calista Flockhart) offers Supergirl some sage advice. Glen Winter directed the episode with story by Andrew Kreisberg & Jessica Queller and teleplay by Robert Rovner & Caitlin Parrish (#222). Original airdate 5/22/2017.

"Lian Yu" - (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (Content Rating TBD) (HDTV)

DEATHSTROKE, NYSSA AL GHUL, MERLYN AND DIGGER HARKNESS JOIN OLIVER'S BATTLE AGAINST PROMETHEUS - The battle between Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Adrian Chase (Josh Segarra) culminates in a final epic battle on Lian Yu. After recent events, Oliver decides to recruit a group of unlikely allies - Slade (guest star Manu Bennett), Nyssa (guest star Katrina Law), Merlyn (John Barrowman) and Digger Harkness (guest star Nick. E. Tarabay) - to defeat Chase. However, Chase has his own army - Black Siren (guest star Katie Cassidy), Evelyn Sharp (guest star Madison McLaughlin) and Talia al Ghul (guest star Lexa Doig) - and the forces collide in an explosive season finale. Jesse Warn directed the episode written by Wendy Mericle & Marc Guggenheim (#523). Original airdate 5/24/2017.

Plus, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has officially announced and detailed the upcoming Blu-ray release for DC's Legends of Tomorrow: The Complete Second Season, which will arrive in stores on August 15.

Special Features:
  • DC's Legends of Tomorrow: 2016 Comic-Con Panel

@ConnorHawkeye - I think they should send mon el to the legion's time and have the actor playing him be superboy next season.

I was re-watching the S1 ep of LOT with the future messed up Star City. But I haven't watched all of Arrow, so was that John Diggle JR a hint about Flashpoint? Cause he didn't exist at the time right?

@jaysin420 - Diggle's daughter became his son thanks to Flashpoint.

CW should have launched a Deathstroke series when they had the chance.

Another terrible episode. I can't believe she beats up Superman not once but twice. Superman in this show should be called Superchump. I feel like this is a man hating very feminist. Too much over the top female saving the day. Other shows have both men and women together fighting the bad guys
