Actually thought this was a solid episode, and one of the strongest of the season; also, it was interesting, the storyline was a lot more engaging.

I liked that we got more of a backstory to many characters here: Lena, Andrea (who I haven't liked up till this episode), Russell (surprised they killed him), and of course Leviathan as a whole. Definitely a good character episode for Lena (though I don't remember her being so uptight when she first came to the series as in these flashbacks). But I liked the flashbacks, the action scenes were neat (though J'onn was defeated too easily), and Andrea's shadow capabilities are cool.

Wonder if we will find out how Lena got her hands on Eve, guessing that Leviathan sent Eve to Lena?

Also, it was a welcome surprise to see Cryer's Lex Luthor again. Yes, most of it was old footage from last season, but the first scene was new. I actually wonder if that was a deleted/cut scene from season 4, cause in the extended scene tonight of Lex being taken away in handcuffs, you could tell the bald guy walking away from the camera wasn't Cryer (at least it didn't look like him). Seeing Lex again certainly elevated this episode, liked how he indirectly had a role tonight.

I really liked this episode. Lena is always stealing scenes and one focused on her was nice. And I'm glad they finally showed why she would hate Kara so much for lying to her.
