Following the announcement that Lois Lane’s sister Lucy would be joining the show. TVLine has confirmed that DC Villain Reactron will appear episode 3. Reactron has had showdowns with Kara’s cousins Superman and Power Girl in the comics, but it will be Kara that will tangle with him first in live action. I’m guessing that Reactron will be based on Benjamin Martin Krull a former Suicide Squad member who has teamed with another Superman Villain Metallo, and is responsible for the death of Supergirl’s Parents.

Equipped with an exoskeletal made of banded steel. Reactron has the ability to generate radiation from his body, and focus this into concussive blasts. He is also equipped with a heart made of a gold Kryptonite variant, which allows him to render a Kryptonian like Kara powerless for 15 seconds.

A very formidable foe this early in the season is an encouraging development, and hopefully increases the likelihood of more characters from the comics appearing later in the series. What are your thoughts? Sound off below.

Staring Melissa Benoist , Supergirl is an upcoming American television series developed by writer/producers Greg Berlanti, Ali Adler and Andrew Kreisberg set to air on CBS. It is based on the DC Comics character Supergirl (Kara Zor-El), created by Otto Binder and Al Plastino. Supergirl is a costumed superhero who is the biological cousin to Superman and one of the last surviving Kryptonians. The series will debut on October 26, 2015.

Superman and Supergirl have terrible villains. Brainiac is an exception, but like Darkseid, he often deals with the league and the DCU as a whole.

Lex Luthor and Doomsday are also League villains. Hell Lex is IN the League right now.
Mongul doesn't even show up anymore. When was the last time he was relevant? Oh right, PART OF THE SINESTRO CORPS.

So yes, that doesn't leave anybody else.

@garycooper

The Flash is certainly not flawless. But it's a damn fine show.

@monkeyballs

I saw the pilot. While the superhero part of the show isn't so bad, the human part of the show is just awful. The show pretty much turns into a really bad chick flick. Jimmy Olsen is now Kara's boyfriend with abs, Toyman is the next door neighbor who has a crush on Kara, Cat Grant is the mean rich boss. It's really, really awful.

But if you can get passed that part of the show, you might be able to enjoy the superhero side of the series.

I'm familiar with Reactron from reading the "New Krypton" storyline. He's pretty much Metallo but with a Gold Kryptonite heart and with radioactive powers.

He's pretty much the Hobgoblin to Metallo's Green Goblin. If Metallo is Venom, then Reactron is Carnage.
