"Stronger Together" – When Kara’s attempts to help National City don’t go according to plan, she must put aside the doubts that she – and the city’s media – has about her abilities in order to capture an escapee from the Kryptonian prison, Fort Rozz. Also, Cat pressures James to use his connection to Superman to get her an interview with Supergirl, when SUPERGIRL moves to its regular time period, Monday, Nov 2 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Sounds like a pretty cool episode, right? The Supergirl pilot leaked earlier this year, so for those of you who checked it out then or perhaps caught it at Comic-Con, this second instalment will be the first new episode in a very long time! What do you guys think of this image and description?

I don't like female versions of established male characters, and I probably wouldn't like male versions of established female one if there were any. She-Hulk, Supergirl, Batgirl, Rescue (Pepper), Thor (Foster) and She-thing just annoy me.

She looks like she's in her late twenties, why is she still labeling herself as "girl?"

"Why is she referring to herself as a girl?". Umm, because her character has been called that for 75 years and women across this nation love being "girls". My lesbian friends, most over 40, call themselves girls. Even Marylyn Monroe "enjoyed being a girl". Get over your PC self, please, it's embarrassing.

I really need an explanation about what Superman is doing during the events of the show, adn that explanation should be provided rather soon-ish and would need to be convincing. That's really the only "must" I have for this, otherwise I've no strong feelings either way about Supergirl and will give it the chance all CBM shows get.

Her shitstume looks like a Walmart Halloween version of a film costume. But that is the least of that shitty shows problems. The worst is that it's like a spinoff of Lois and Clark or worse, Superboy The Series. A real step back.

The pilot was terrible. Think of the worst comic book production you've ever seen. This is worse than that.

I'm shocked to see that people actually care about this show. Flash is okay. Arrow is bad. This is the crap that makes crap say, "Holy crap, this crap is real!"

I totally understand this character has been around for a while, but how unimaginative are writers when they just turn an established hero into a female and give them basically the same name only with "girl" or "she" attached to it. I'm not saying these characters haven't gone on to become great characters, all I'm saying is how ridiculous it is for a characters name to be Supergirl, She-Hulk, Spider-Woman, etc. Even recently with characters like Spider-Gwen and Lady Thor as two examples. If a writer can't come up with an imaginative and creative name and/or character story other than "the female ____ " they honestly shouldn't be in the industry. I'm so sick of this forced political correctness/ pandering, not just in comic book related items, but in general. Same thing with Marvel related animated shows where they play the same joke from the live action movies over and over again while having feces incorporated story telling just to pander to the Chet's and Madison's out there who happened to enjoy live action Avengers and who the executives believe will just shoot clue glue if they see the same scene from the live action movies. Good, I feel better now that I've voided my vocal bowels.

I won't lie, I'm still impressed by the costume for this show.

I was expecting some type of half as bullshit from CBS. I still don't fully understand the hate for her suit. It's the one reassuring thing they've gotten right on the show.

@Superherodude1

I don't know I mean it pretty much looks like Bruce Timm's Supergirl redesign in JLU

I mean there are slight differences but the idea is more or less the same.

I remember thinking what her suit would look like and knowing CBS I was expecting it to be halfassed. Like have her in jeans, a blue t-shirt with an S, maybe a red hoodie. That would be her suit.

When it was revealed I was like "Holy shit, that's actually good"

My expectations were so [frick]ing low lol
