'Superman' Villain 'Reactron' Cast In Season One Of Upcoming SUPERGIRL TV Series

Yet another villain with ties to Superman has been cast, as Reactron will be heading to National City in episode three of the CBS drama with a plan to take out the Man of Steel's cousin.

The Hollywood Reporter reveals that Sons of Anarchy's Chris Browning has joined the cast of Supergirl as Ben Krull. Who? Well, we all know him better as the villainous Reactron! In the CBS series, he's described as "a deadly adversary of Superman's from Metropolis who wears an armored suit powered by nuclear energy. Never able to defeat his rival, Krull has come to National City to get revenge on the Man of Steel by killing his cousin, Supergirl." He's set to first show up in episode three, but the site mentions that there's potential for him to become a recurring character. Supergirl doesn't premiere until the end of October, but with Greg Berlanti (The Flash) overseeing things, both fans and the network have very high hopes for the DC Comics adaptation. Is it a mistake to include yet another villain with ties to the Man of Steel?

" Is it a mistake to include yet another villain with ties to the Man of Steel?"

Reactron is actually a Supergirl villain who first appeared in Supergirl comics.

Ugh!! So this show is just going to be a constant reminder that Superman is around? I guess they'll just come up with convenient excuses as to why Superman can't take 2 minutes to fly out and help his cousin.

Hopefully the next character to be on the show will be Galataya. Seeing the evil clone of Superhirl could be great.

Don't worry SuperCat. I'm sure Baroness Von Gunther will be in Wonder Woman.

Wonder girl would be cool to see down the line. They should create some new villains for the show like how batman did with Harley Quinn

Looking forward to this, more-so that Gotham season 2, which I won't be watching.
The pilot was pleasantly surprising, especially after the trailers made the show look way too chick flicky. Just as The Flash pilot was just an OK episode, Supergirl was better than I thought it would be, so I'm hoping the rest of the series gets better after finding its footing. there's only two issues I ahve with it: Jimmy (James) Olsen's depiction as this smooth suave operator & the fact that this cannot be connected to the Arrow/Flash universe

Woo. If it weren't for the constant threat of [redacted] being asked (yet again!) to play Superman I'd be interested in Supergirl.

As it is, I'm more interested in how SG will play to the Frozen crowd...
