Big things are coming to the DC TV Universe at the end of this month as you can see from the newly released descriptions below. Supergirl doesn't sound massively exciting but The Elongated Man and Breacher are both heading to The Flash and it sounds like Barry relationship with Ralph isn't great!

In Legends of Tomorrow, things are going to go bad to worse for the team when they learn that a young Ray Palmer has befriended a Dominator and that he runs the risk of being wiped from history.

Finally, Arrow will once feature Black Siren's return and that promises to be a lot of fun! Each of the DC TV shows returned this week and the premieres definitely varied in quality but it is good to have these shows back on the air. Which of the descriptions below gets you excited? Sound off in the usual place.

Supergirl - "The Faithful"

CHAD LOWE GUEST STARS — Kara (Melissa Benoist) investigates a secretive new group whose leader, Thomas Coville (guest star Chad Lowe), has a mysterious connection to Supergirl. Meanwhile, Samantha (Odette Annable) feels like she’s letting Ruby (guest star Emma Tremblay) down, and J’onn (David Harewood) confesses an old secret. Jesse Warn directed the episode written by Paula Yoo & Katie Rose Rogers.

The Flash - "Elongated Journey Into Night"

TOM CAVANAGH DIRECTS; DANNY TREJO GUEST STARS AS BREACHER — Cisco (Carlos Valdes) is shocked when Gypsy’s (guest star Jessica Camacho) father, Breacher (guest star Danny Trejo), shows up on Earth-1. Breacher takes an immediate disliking to Cisco and decides to hunt him. Meanwhile, Barry (Grant Gustin) runs into his old nemesis, Ralph Dibny (guest star Hartley Sawyer). Tom Cavanagh directed the episode written by Sterling Gates & Thomas Pound.

Legends of Tomorrow - "Phone Home"

HELPING ONE OF THEIR OWN — The Legends learn that Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh) will die because they broke time, causing them to race back to 1988 to try and save his life.  When they arrive, they are surprised to learn that young Ray Palmer has befriended a time-displaced baby Dominator putting him in harm’s way with the government and the Dominator’s mother.  New to the ship and missions, Zari (Tala Ashe) must find her place and learn to trust the team.  Meanwhile, Stein (Victor Garber) begins working on a secret project on the ship which makes Rory (Dominic Purcell) and Jax (Franz Drameh) suspicious.   Caity Lotz, Maisie Richardson-Sellers and Nick Zano also star.  Kevin Mock directed the episode written by Matthew Maala.

Arrow - "Reversal"

BLACK SIREN STRIKES AGAIN — Just as Oliver (Stephen Amell) starts to get things in order, Black Siren (Katie Cassidy) launches another attack on the citizens of Star City. Gregory Smith directed the episode written by Sarah Tarkoff & Emilio Ortega Aldrich.

Wilding drinking game: For every mistake in this article, drink. You'll be wasted by the end.

Flash and Arrow had really good premières. Legends looks like its going to be a boring season that isn't going anywhere particularly new. Supergirl was the worst of the bunch. It was so bad that I turned it off and finished it later.
Things that bothered me:
in Legends, Wally took his mask in front of the criminals while Steel was using his real name... WTF? Serious superhero foul!
In Supergirl, I overlooked the really tired Trump jokes, but Kara not being able to hold her breath underwater? She hangs out at the edge of space! How does that make sense? And the Alex/Maggie love story is exhausting and a waste of screen time. It does nothing to further the story.
In Flash, Cisco is supposed to be a genius... So why can't he realize the obvious, that Barry was seeing the whole of history at once. He clearly references the future when he's talking, but Cisco just acts like its babble.

@rabid - If I remember, not being able to breath underwater is canon to the lore of the comics for Kryptonians. It's why Superman, as far as I know, has NEVER been to Atlantis.

@GAThrawnIGF - Kryptonian can't breathe in space or water, but they can hold their breath for hours. It just seemed out ofplace for Alex to shout that out.

I hope they make Barry and Ralph the Dexter and ManDark of the D.C. Universe.

The way Flash's synopsis goes by makes me think Ralph's story will be a little drawn out which makes sense because they teased the mistery of his powers.

Supergirl's holds potential because they are doing the reversal of things like they did with Arrow and The Flash's religious cults: Arrow was against an active following group in the shape of the League of Assassins with an active leader with Ra's, Flash had him going up against mere acolytes that worshipped an evil version of himself that only came up with them in order to gather up some power, here Supergirl is actually going up against a cult that is aimed FOR her. It's interesting.

Curious about Reign and J'onn.

Arrow's still keeping things very under wraps.

Legends sounds fun, only them could come up with something like a baby Dominator. And I think Stein's plot will tie in with his exit later on. D:
