Team Flash added a new member tonight in the form of the Elongated Man (Hartley Sawyer) and next week, he joins his new teammates for Barry's (Grant Gustin) epic bachelor party, which, as expected, goes horribly, horribly wrong with the guys ultimately landing behind bars.

Meanwhile, Iris' bachelorette party is considerably more eventful as it ends up getting crashed by Killer Frost (Danielle Panabaker), who resumes control of Caitlin's body after receiving a very ominous threat from her former employer, Amunet (Katee Sackhoff).

Watch the new promo for episode five, titled "Girls Night Out," below:

"Girls Night Out" - (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (TV-14, DLV) (HDTV)

KATEE SACKHOFF ("BATTLESTAR GALACTICA") AND EMILY BETT RICKARDS ("ARROW") GUEST STAR - Having received an ominous threat from her old boss, Amunet (guest star Katee Sackhoff), Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) fears that her past time as Killer Frost may be back to haunt her. Felicity (guest star Emily Bett Rickards) comes to Central City to help the girls celebrate Iris's (Candice Patton) bachelorette party, while Cisco (Carlos Valdes), Joe (Jesse L. Martin) and the guys take Barry out for a night on the town. Laura Belsey directed the episode written by Lauren Certo & Kristen Kim (#405). Original airdate 11/7/2017.

Last season, Barry Allen aka The Flash used his extraordinary abilities to travel back in time and save his mother’s life, and inadvertently created an alternate timeline known as Flashpoint. The phenomenon not only gave birth to the villainous God of Speed known as Savitar, but changed the lives of Caitlin Snow and Wally West forever. With the help of his adoptive father, Detective Joe West, his fiancée Iris West, and his friends at S.T.A.R. Labs – Cisco Ramon and Harrison Wells -- Barry continues to protect the people of Central City from the meta-humans that threaten it. But first, he’ll have to escape the Speed Force – an extra-dimensional entity teeming with unknown dangers – that Barry sacrificed himself to in order to save Central City.

The Flash features:
Grant Gustin as Barry Allen/The Flash
Candice Patton as Iris West
Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow/Killer Frost
Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramon/Vibe
Tom Cavanagh as Dr. Harrison Wells
Jesse L. Martin as Detective Joe West
John Wesley Shipp as Henry Allen/Jay Garrick
Michelle Harrison as Nora Allen
Keiynan Lonsdale as Wally West/Kid Flash
Violett Beane as Jesse Quick
Tom Felton as Julian Dorn
Hartley Sawyer as Ralph Dibny/Elongated Man
Neil Sandilands as Clifford DeVoe/The Thinker

@NinnesMBC - They are, last one i was at, a midget and pimp got in a fight at the strip club we were in. One of the strippers put a lollipop up her yahoo and then my buddy (who wasn't the one getting married) put it right in his mouth. Amazingly he didn't get a disease from that.

This is without a doubt the best Flash episode since season 1. It was just like I was watching the Silver Age come to life, even more than the previous episodes. While Arrow was last season's Most Improved, Flash is without a doubt the Most Improved this year, with Supergirl the worst of the 4 this time. Maybe the rumors of the showrunners rotating each year are true. Danny Trejo was fantastic, I loved Elongated Man and he's definitely going to be my favorite new character of the CWverse for this season, the humor was on point, the Iris-Barry romance took a backseat to character development. I didn't even mind how they completely changed Dibny's personality into a crooked cop who dislikes Barry Allen, the complete opposite of the comics. The Plastic Man shoutout made me chuckle as I'm sure that's what a lot of people watching would have assumed him to be.

Fun episode nothing more, nothing less. They need to get the wheels turning on the story though. This season has been kind of chugging through freaks of the week without progressing the main narrative much.

I thought this episode was awful. I like the actor of Elongated man but this episode was poorly executed and written

Best episode of the season, but sadly that's not saying a lot. Something just feels off this year, not really sure what it is exactly.

I still love the show, but Legends has taken over as my fave DC show, as of now.

@jaysin420 - i really enjoyed tonight episode but i know what you mean about the off feeling, its like you are waiting for something bad to happend from the speedforce or something , i feel like they jumped way to fast to the story after he was free from the prison and now we are waiting for the fallout

jaysin420 - 11/1/2017, 8:31 AM
@Krav - Yea I think so too, but they must have a reason for that, even if it's annoying me right now. I thought the last 2 seasons started great but ended bad, so maybe they're switching it up.

There's waaaay too much humour in this season...
I mean i liked the episode, i was excited to see the Elongated Man, but now i'm glad they didn't use Plastic Man!
GAThrawnIGF
GAThrawnIGF - 11/1/2017, 6:45 AM
@Doomsday8888 - Because Flash is supposed to be brooding, emo, and dark like Batman and Green Arrow, right? Flash has always been a book embracing humor and campiness. Hell, when Wally took over, Flash knew more about telling jokes than solving a murder.
Doomsday8888

@GAThrawnIGF
I didn't say Barry was a joker, i said there's too much humour as a whole in the serie.
This is NOT how you listen to criticism, S3 was too dark, and now you add this humour and that's it? Nah.

I'm happy others here agree about how fun this ep was. I laughed out loud quite a bit.

Have they changed writers and directors? I've noticed a different style this season that I'm liking. I think they're going for it. The fun, the silliness. I think they're trying to be more comic like, not afraid to bounce from goofy to high stakes. It doesn't have to be so "grounded and realistic" and I've always wanted that. They're characters in a different world from us, let shit get crazy.
