GAME OF THRONES Actor Iain Glen Will Play Bruce Wayne On Season 2 Of TITANS

An actor has been cast to play an older incarnation of Bruce Wayne/Batman for season 2 of DC Universe's Titans series, and it's none other than Ser Jorah Mormont himself, Iain Glen. More past the jump...

Batman was only glimpsed in the shadows during the first season of Titans, but fans will be able to put a face to the cape and cowl when the show returns to the DC Universe streaming service next fall.

According to Deadline, Iain Glen (Game of Thrones, Kick-Ass 2) has been cast as an older take on Bruce Wayne.

We don't know if Glen will actually suit-up as the Dark Knight on the show, but based on the official character breakdown it sounds like he and Robin (or will that be Nightwing?) are going to have more of a Batman Beyond-type dynamic.

“After decades of fighting crime as Batman, billionaire Bruce Wayne is just as driven to protect Gotham from evil as he was in his prime. Needing to reconcile his relationship with Dick Grayson, the duo hope to forge a new dynamic as Bruce tries to help his former sidekick and the Titans achieve success.”

What do you guys make of this casting news? Do you think Glen will do the Iconic DC character justice? Drop us a comment down below.

Man, I'll always be kind of sad that Jim Caviezel never got to play Bruce Wayne. Think he could pull of the seasoned Superhero and has the acting skills to be really able to portray all facets of the character.

@HeavyMetal4Life -

A good solid actor. I didn't stick with Person of Interest unfortunately but he definitely has the intensity for the role.

@SimplyAz - I think the last thing I saw him in was Escape Plan. He was good in The Prisoner and Deja Vu.

@HeavyMetal4Life -

He's always one of those actors in a movie that does well, and when ever you see him on screen you wonder why he isn't in more movies.
At least he got to play Jesus

@SimplyAz - Would never put him as the face of Bruce Wayne, the charm and glamour guy... but he WAS the man in the suit in POI. Jonathan Nolan wrote a beautiful deconstruction of Batman in POI.

My thesis:
What if Alfred was the billionaire who built the Bat computer but needed a hero to do the leg work and fighting for him?
He'd go find an ex-special forces guy with the right temperament and idea of justice.

Then Reese becomes known as the man in the suit. Later in the show Reese wants out but eventually needs back in. Its beautifully written and straight out of superhero lore, "I'm gonna need a new suit".

@Montezuma -

I like what your saying dude, makes sense and is an interesting new take on the character as an Elseworlds style idea.

I have no idea why I stopped watching POI and by the time I considered going back too many seasons had gone
