Many of you may not know this but actor Alfie Allen, who plays Theon Greyjoy on
Game of Thrones, is Lily Allen's brother. During a recent
Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything), Lily Allen was asked to share her thoughts on her brother being apart of HBO's Emmy-winning fantasy series. She then revealed that she was pursued for the show as well but turned down the offer because the role reeked.
"I've been asked to do a Game of Thrones cameo, they asked me if I'd be interested in playing Theon's sister, and I felt uncomfortable because I would have had to go on a horse and he would have touched me up and shit. Once they told me what was entailed, I said no thanks." - Lily Allen
She's referring to an infamous season 2 scene from "The Night Lands." An arrogant Theon Greyjoy had just arrived at the Iron Islands, his old stomping grounds. He's disappointed that he's not greeted with any fanfare. His disappointment soon dissipates when he is approached by an attractive woman, who appears to be a commoner. She offers him a ride to Pyke, which he accepts. The two immediately begin a flirtatious banter. While on horseback, a cocky Theon boldy fondles the woman. A few scenes later his female companion reveals she's actually Theon's older sister, Yara.
Summers span decades. Winters can last a lifetime. And the struggle for the Iron Throne has begun. It will stretch from the south, where heat breeds plots, lust and intrigues; to the vast and savage eastern lands; all the way to the frozen north, where an 800-foot wall of ice protects the kingdom from the dark forces that lie beyond. Kings and queens, knights and renegades, liars, lords and honest men...all will play the 'Game of Thrones.'
