Latino Review's Ryan McLelland reports that actress Malin Akerman ('Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle') has landed the part of The Silk Spectre in Zack ('300') Snyder's "Watchmen."

Akerman's character, Laurie Juspeczyk, is a second-generation former crimefighter and live-in lover of the world's only true metahuman, Dr. Manhattan (Billy Crudup of 'The Good Shepherd').

McLelland also confirms the casting of Oscar nominee Jackie Earle Haley ('Little Children') as Walter Kovacs aka Rorschach, the only person who believes the murder of former teammate The Comedian is part of a plot to eliminate retired heroes.

Of the core characters, only Nite Owl, Ozymandias and Comedian remain to be cast.
