We finally got a
proper look at HBO's new
Watchmen TV series yesterday, and while it did give fans a slightly better idea of what to expect from the plot, there are still a lot of questions that need answering.
Arguably the most talked about aspect of the trailer was Regina King's (
If Beale Street Could Talk) character Angela Abar, who we see suiting-up and kicking ass in several shots. We know she's most likely a cop (well,
was a cop), but aside from that very little is known about this mysterious vigilante.
Following the teaser, King shared a new look at her character over Twitter.

Watchmen also stars Jean Smart, Jeremy Irons, Don Johnson, Tim Blake Nelson, Louis Gossett Jr., Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Adelaide Clemens, Andrew Howard, Tom Mison, Frances Fisher, Jacob Ming-Trent, Sara Vickers, Dylan Schombing, and Lily Rose Smith. The show is set to premiere this fall, so set those Doomsday Clocks accordingly.
