Following last night's news that Legion star Aubrey Plaza has joined Marvel Studios' Agatha: Coven of Chaos, the upcoming Disney+ series has added two more to its cast.
Deadline reports that Ali Ahn (Raising Dion) and Maria Dizzia (The Staircase) will appear in the WandaVision spin-off in undisclosed supporting roles. No details on the their characters were provided, but we'd say there's a decent chance these two - and Plaza - will play members of Agatha's old coven.
Ahn’s other credits include Supernatural, The Path, Next, Billions, Orange Is the New Black, Little Demon and the upcoming The Diplomat. Dizzia also appeared in Orange Is the New Black, along with 13 Reasons Why, Emergence, The Staircase and The First Lady.
We learned that Heartstopper alum Joe Locke had also joined the cast earlier this week. Though nothing is official, he is believed to be playing Wiccan.
Coven of Chaos will focus on the villainous Agatha Harkness (Kathryn Hahn), who almost managed to defeat the Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) in the season finale of WandaVision before being bested and trapped in Westview in her "nosy neighbor Agnes" persona. Further plot details remain a mystery, but it was recently confirmed that Emma Caulfield Ford is also set to reprise the role of Dottie.
Jac Schaeffer, who is under a joint overall deal with Marvel and 20th Television, will serve as writer and executive producer. No premiere date has been announced.
