In just under a week from now the second of Marvel's Netflix series, the hotly anticipated Jessica Jones, will hit our screens. One of the major factors in the show's hype is the anticipation to see David Tennant (Doctor Who, Broadchurch) as the show's villain, Zebediah Kilgrave A.K.A. Purple Man. We've not seen very much of him, but already he's shaping up to be a villain to rival that of Vincent D'Onofrio's Kingpin.

Just two days ago, Tennant sat down with The Guardian and gave an interview in which he discussed his character in greater detail. As if that weren't enough, there's a few clips of Tennant in action as Kilgrave! Check them out in the video below.

Will you be watching Jessica Jones when it premieres this Friday on Netflix? What are you most looking forward to about the show? Be sure to leave all your thoughts and comments in the usual place.

Jessica Jones stars Krysten Ritter, Mike Colter, David Tennant, Carrie-Anne Moss, and Rachel Taylor. The show is set to premiere on Netflix this Friday, November 20th.

Won't watch anything more from this show until I can watch the show itself. Got my Netflix account up and running, now the final stretch of waiting starts...

I think the show is going to be better than that....

Rephrase.... I'm excited for this, so I really hope that the show is better than that teaser....

I find it odd that Melissa Rosenberg hasn't been very forthcoming about the show and the press and everything. Steven DeKnight was all over the place during Daredevil press. That show was his baby.

Looks like the show will actually develop Kilgrave, similar to how Daredevil handled Fisk.

Marvel Netflix will be heads and shoulders above the films in terms of quality villains.

The scenes with Kilgrave looked golden. Did anyone else jumps when Kilgrave stomped that purple toy car or was it just me? Leave the kids alone Dr. Who!

On a side note, who actually opens their apartment door to a stranger in New York City, without at least using the door chain, if open the door at all? Realism Marvel!

And I'm pretty sure Steven was just more of a fan of the material that he was working with. Show Runners/Directors ect don't need to run their mouths about their project 24/7. That doesn't prove that the material will actually be good. If anything it sets people with higher expectations that the show runners or whoever hope is met. Some people just don't wanna deal with that stress if they don't have to. Just wait until it comes the [Frick] out

"Q:What was the first thing that made you say yes to this role?

DT: I think it was the Marvel connection initially. That's what perked my ears up."

That Marvel weight! And why wouldn't he be interested? Marvel has been KILLING it lately. And this'll be no different.

@DrKinsolving that tease was exemplary. A nice sign of things to come. That short scene was enough to convince me this show will be great. Idk how yu think it wasn't good, but it's your opinion

It was a short clip, taken out of context from the story. With that said, I'm not judging yet, I'm looking forward to the show.

I'm just stating my honest reaction, like i always do on here.

Not gonna lie, I watched the first trailer (the one with the watercolor stuff that came out a while back) and I haven't seen anything else for JESSICA JONES because I want to be surprised by it. 6 days (5 here really) left until it comes out, so I can wait it out. Not sure how well I can do with Star Wars though. I watched the first trailer, the 3rd one, and the international one, and that's it. I personally feel that trailers (for most things) reveal too much, which is why I will watch the Civil War trailer, and then avoid all others. -Rant over-
