Halfway through the series and so far its my second favorite behind Jessica Jones.
The writing just isnt as good for Daredevil.

@minusman - You think the writing in JJ is good?

I thought the writing for both LC and JJ was better than DD- enjoyed the stories and characters more. So, yea. I thought it was good.

@minusman - the writing on Jessica Jones was amazing in my opinion

@SexyMatt - I liked JJ, but I feel there was a lot of filler. Too many side stories with throwaway side characters for my tastes. I feel that series could have been 9 or 10 episodes.

Also, I wasn't a fan of how JJ didn't really grow as a character. At the end, where she was just deleting voicemails from desperate people... D!ck move. I mean, it's fine that they went that way with her character... I just wasn't a fan of that. I would rather it have ended with her playing the voicemails and her just putting her head down on her desk in utter frustration.

Anyway, Luke Cage seems to have a more focused story thus far. I am liking this as much as I liked DD s1 and the first couple of episodes of s2 (before it became a constant ninja fight of a show).

@SexyMatt - I couldnt stop watching JJ- its almost the same with Cage. I havent finished watching Daredevil S2 yet. I am just not drawn into the story all that much.

Seen the first ten episodes of Luke Cage,I will wait until I have seen the final three episodes before giving my final verdict on the show but as it stands now.

Daredevil and Jessica Jones are both better.

I'm not done watching the series yet, but SPOILERS the Diamondback character annoys me a bit. Maybe he will make more sense later. And the whole drill bullet makes no sense. How is he impervious to a lead bullet, but one that drills can get through his skin? I would have rather them go the route of some type of electricity weapon or something. Dude can survive a building falling on him and a rocket launcher, but a powerdrill shot from a gun takes him out? They didn't even say it was tipped with diamonds or vibranium or something. Jeez.

@TomSolo - It was mentioned that it was made of metal from the Chitauri or the "Incident"

@minusman - Really? I missed that somehow, but thank goodness. Makes me feel better about the drill bullet thing. I still would have liked a different weakness, but at least it is made from something otherworldly.

So I'm almost done with the series....and.... I love Luke Cage, I love Cottonmouth, they're my reasons I stuck through this show.

That being said, It's dull as f***. I mean I wanted to like this...so bad, I loved the primarily African american castnig, the music sounded so fly, but...the pacing...is just god awful and slow.

And seriously, you got a guy who's all but invincible, and all this show's got to throw at him is low level thugs, and experimenting with how much the audience will take of seeing him brush off bullets for the hundredth time.

His escape from the prison was equally anti-climatic.... I don't know....I'm really disappointed thus far, these final 3 eps better be worth it.
