There's a huge amount of excitement surrounding the release of Moon Knight next year, and we're hoping that a first look of some sort could arrive during Disney+ Day next month.
Very little has been revealed about the show, and while a couple of leaks certainly managed to build anticipation, we still don't know if those images were legitimate. Set photos didn't offer much insight, either, and Marvel Studios has done a great job of keeping Marc Spector's live-action debut under wraps.
Filming took place in Budapest, London, and Jordan, while Mohamed Diab, Justin Benson, and Aaron Moorhead are among the confirmed list of directors. However, we may now have one more filmmaker to add to the list. According to The Ronin, George Clooney (The Monuments Men) may have directed an episode of the MCU series.
They stress that this is just a rumour and ponder the possibility that he may have also had an acting role in Moon Knight. We're not sure about that, but Clooney has worked with star Oscar Isaac before on Suburbicon (which the Batman & Robin star directed).
You might be surprised to hear that Clooney has potentially helmed an episode of Moon Knight, but he's certainly no stranger to stepping behind the camera for small screen projects. In the past, the actor and filmmaker has worked on Unscripted for HBO and Hulu's Catch-22.
Moon Knight will premiere on Disney+ in 2022.
