There's less than a week to go until Moon Knight arrives on Disney+, and this past Monday, Marvel Studios held a press conference for the series. We were on hand, of course, and one of the best moments came when it was revealed that the show broke an interesting record.

Oscar Isaac, Ethan Hawke, May Calamawy, directors Mohamed Diab, Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead, and executive producer Grant Curtis were on hand to discuss the show, and opened up about the work that went into making sure they were fully prepared to tell this story.

"I think you gave us the chance to develop this show when you gave us the chance to have those table reads," Diab said of how Marvel Studios helped give the cast and crew the time they needed. "Everyone who's sitting here added his soul to that project, and I have to say that we hold the record of the least additional photography in the history of Marvel [Studios]."

Hawke credited rehearsal time for this, with Isaac explaining: "on the weekend while we were shooting, we would all sit around the table and have a Sunday brunch and we would all just talk about the episode. We'd talk about the show and what we wanted to do and how..."

"...it could be better," Hawke interjected. "What did that mean? Could that be more interesting? And it brought our collective imagination into one thing. And that made it easier when we'd be directed [as] it was always part of the same team. The imaginative force behind it was the same."

Marvel Studios has made reshoots the norm, and they're no longer considered a sign of a troubled production. That is the case now and again, of course, but Moon Knight clearly can't be counted among them based on these comments from the show's cast and crew.

Moon Knight premieres on Disney+ on March 30.
