MOON KNIGHT Rumored To Feature An Appearance From Emily VanCamp's Sharon Carter

Is "The Power Broker" set to make her presence felt in Moon Knight? A new rumor claims that The Falcon & The Winter Soldier's Emily VanCamp is set to reprise the role of Sharon Carter for the Disney+ show.

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier saw the return of Emily VanCamp's Sharon Carter, who was ultimately revealed to be the shadowy "Power Broker" in the season finale. Fans were left wondering where the duplicitous former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent would show up next, and we may now have our answer.

The Ronin is reporting that Carter is set to appear in the upcoming Moon Knight Disney+ series. No further details were provided, but the site adds that it's unsure if it will be a cameo or a more substantial role.

Sharon acted as an ally to Sam and Bucky in TFATWS, but also had her own agenda as the woman pulling the strings of Karli Morgenthau and her Flag Smashers. When we last saw her she'd just been pardoned for her part in helping Steve Rogers during the events of Captain America: Civil War, and seemed to be planning some kind of large-scale government takeover. A Secret Invasion, perhaps?

We still don't know a whole lot about Moon Knight, but Marc Spector was a former C.I.A. agent in the comics, so there's a chance he's had dealings with Carter in the past.

This should be treated as a rumor for the time being, but we'll hopefully have more to share on Moon Knight soon. The show is currently shooting in Budapest.

A recent synopsis stated that "the action-adventure features a complex vigilante who suffers from dissociative identity disorder. The multiple identities who live inside him are distinct characters who appear against a backdrop of Egyptian iconography."

Out of all the things that didn’t work for me in FATWS, the Power Broker storyline may have been the worst.

I hope they redeem her character, I was super bummed out with what they did to her in FATWS, which btw, is the worst Marvel Disney Plus show by a lot.

Oh sure. "Sharon Carter".

This remains my most anticipated of all the upcoming Disney+ series. Moon Knight can get pretty dark and gritty so I wonder if Marvel and Disney are going full gritty. FATWS was pretty violent at times so I guess there’s a good chance.

@MovieMonster - I was surprised at how violent FATWS could be at times. It really feels like the streaming shows can be a bit more daring in that aspect.

The Sharon Carter twist may be my least favorite thing in the MCU so far. Breaking up with Cap is such horrible villain motivation and in the timeline it makes no sense. Plus everyone predicted it.

She Will be gunned down at somepoint AND her corpse Will reveal a Skrull, like Elektra at Secreto Invasión.

I feel like she's just not a good actress in the MCU tbh (I say MCU because I've never seen her in anything else). I wouldn't mind her getting killed off pretty soon here lol.

I'm just assuming she's a Skrull until further elaborated.

Would be cool for her to get more to do with this character. Falcon and Winter Soldier put her in a more interesting light.

I didn’t mind the twist, but I would have liked it to make more sense, motive-wise. Too many of her actions in FatWS were of high risk to her operation with questionable chance for reward. You can have someone playing both sides, but only if they win either way it goes.
