MOON KNIGHT's Writers Include THE FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER, WANDAVISION And X-MEN '97 Scribes

With just over a month to go before Moon Knight finally arrives on Disney+ (making it our first MCU fix of 2022), the show's writers have been revealed courtesy of a listing on the Writers Guild of America West (via Murphy's Multiverse). The scribes working on each specific episode can be found below, and they're an undeniably talented bunch.

The premiere was penned by Moon Knight "Head Writer" Jeremy Slater with Michael Kastelein (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier) set as the sole writer on episode two. Beau DeMayo (The Witcher, X-Men '97) teams up with Peter Cameron (WandaVision) & Sabir Pirzada (Person of Interest) for three, while the latter two then pair up with Alex Meenehan (Bosch) for four.

The penultimate episode comes our way from Rebecca Kirsch (The Exorcist) and Matthew Horton (an apparent newcomer), and Slater is back for Moon Knight's finale alongside Cameron & Pirzada (based on a story by Swagger's Danielle Iman & Slater).

It's a varied, exciting group, and Marvel Studios appears to be going for a mix of established writers alongside some they've worked with on other projects. Looking at Horton and Iman, they also want scribes who can come into the MCU here before potentially returning down the line. That gives them in-house talent akin to the writer's program used for their movies.

We've yet to receive a comprehensive list of confirmed directors for Moon Knight, though it does appear recent rumours that George Clooney might somehow be involved were, in fact, false.

Moon Knight is set to premiere on Disney+ on March 30.
