The recent teaser trailer for Ms. Marvel revealed that the series would begin streaming on Disney+ this June, and while we'll likely be waiting a while for another look at some footage from the show, we do have some new promo art featuring the teenage hero of the title.
During a presentation in Thailand over the weekend, Marvel Studios showcased the three streaming shows that'll debut this year to those in attendance. New looks at Moon Knight's Marc Spector (Oscar Isaac) and Ms. Marvel's Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani) were shown, and while a She-Hulk title card was also displayed, Tatiana Maslany's "Hulked-up" Jennifer Walters is still being kept under wraps (well, mostly).
The trailer seemed to go over pretty well with most fans, though some expressed disappointment with how Khan's powers were depicted. You can check it out again below along with the promo images.
"Ms. Marvel is a new, original series that introduces Kamala Khan, a Muslim American teenager growing up in Jersey City," reads the updated synopsis. "An avid gamer and a voracious fan-fiction scribe, Kamala is a Super Hero mega fan with an oversized imagination—particularly when it comes to Captain Marvel. Yet Kamala feels like she doesn’t fit in at school and sometimes even at home—that is, until she gets super powers like the heroes she’s always looked up to. Life gets better with super powers, right?"
Ms. Marvel also stars Aramis Knight, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Matt Lintz, Yasmeen Fletcher, Laith Nakli, Azhar Usman, Travina Springer, and Nimra Bucha.
