MS. MARVEL's Credits May Have Revealed A Major MCU Cameo For Future Episodes - SPOILERS

Ms. Marvel kicked off recently on Disney+. The show features many MCU references, but it appears its credits may have spoiled a major MCU cameo for later episodes.

Note: This article contains potential spoilers for Ms. Marvel

Ever since Iron Man came out in 2008, Marvel Studios has made a habit of putting teasers/stingers after the credits of every single one of its projects. However, with Ms. Marvel — now streaming on Disney+ — the major surprise might be hiding in the credits themselves.

The series features numerous references to the Marvel Cinematic Universe due to its protagonist, Kamala Khan, being a superhero mega-fan. But the show may not keep its MCU connections to just brief mentions, because it seems we can expect it to feature a major character appearance in future episodes.

In the credits of Episode 1 of Ms. Marvel, "Generation Why," at the 45:31 mark there is a credit that reads: "Makeup artist to Ms. Steinfeld: Chris Milone," seemingly teasing a role for Hailee Steinfeld, who made her MCU debut as Kate Bishop in 2021's Hawkeye.

Ms-Marvel-Steinfeld-credit

After going through the Ms. Marvel cast list — both on the show's credits and IMDb — we were unable to find anyone working on the show with the surname "Steinfeld." Following the discovery, we went into the credits of Episode 1 of Hawkeye, "Never Meet Your Heroes." At the 45:56-minute mark, the exact same credit appears: "Makeup artist to Ms. Steinfeld: Chris Milone."

For context, Milone is a New York City-based makeup artist who became Steinfeld's personal makeup artist in Season 2 of her Apple TV+ series, Dickinson.  As shown in the Hawkeye credits and further confirmed by Milone on Instagram, he re-teamed with the star for Marvel Studios' Disney+ series:

Going by this, it seems probable that the "Ms. Steinfeld" the Ms. Marvel credits refer to is indeed Hailee Steinfeld.

Adding to the likelihood of Steinfeld appearing in Ms. Marvel (or the show having some connections to Hawkeye) is the fact that the series' end-credits sequence features a blink-and-you'll-miss-it appearance by Trust A Bro, a moving company operated by the tracksuit mafia that was prominently featured in Hawkeye.

A truck from the company shows up at the 42:22 mark alongside Executive Producer Victoria Alonso's name.

Keep in mind, though, that it's better to have some level of skepticism about this. The Ms. Marvel credit could have ultimately been a mistake that somehow carried over from the Hawkeye-credits layout — however unlikely that may be. Furthermore, a reference to a plot point from Clint Barton's solo adventure doesn't necessarily mean a character from that show will make the jump to Ms. Marvel

Ms. Marvel is currently streaming on Disney+, with new episodes releasing every Wednesday.

It is going to be a weird couple of weeks alternating between Ms Marvel and The Boys.

Make some sense I guess. Jersey City is right across from NYC. Kate could get pulled into whatever mess Kamala has going down in downtown Jersey City.

Took a drive a week ago and saw this for myself. Very cool

I understand she is a busy person, and she is not cheap, but Brie Larson HAS to make a cameo at some point.

Anyway, saw the first episode yesterday, some interesting and clever camera work, the cast is pretty good and charming (always refreshing to see actual teenagers playing teenagers), it gave me Shazam and Spiderverse vibes...however, I dont think I'm the target audience for this series...
Having said that, I would support Kamala taking Carol's role in the future.

Why can't they just trust that the character can carry the show on her own? They already had a Big Hulk cameo in the first episode and now this...?

Jokes aside, I'm down for whatever. The show is super fun and incredibly well directed.
