SHE-HULK Rumored To Feature The Marvel Cinematic Universe Debut Of The Wrecking Crew

There's some potentially very exciting news for fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe this Independence Day as it's been rumoured that we could see The Wrecking Crew make their debut in Disney+'s She-Hulk.

There's a lot of excitement surrounding the She-Hulk TV series coming to Disney+, and while we know that Jennifer Walters will square off with Titania and Abomination, there's still a lot that hasn't been revealed about the legal drama/comedy. Now, though, it's been rumoured that we could see the Marvel Cinematic Universe debut of The Wrecking Crew!

According to The Cosmic Circus, the formidable foursome is set to appear in She-Hulk, and that's something many fans have been hoping to see happen for a long time now.

Debuting in the pages of The Defenders #17 in 1974, Wrecker, Thunderball, Bulldozer, and Piledriver were created by Len Wein and Sal Buscema, and were granted their powers after becoming enchanted with Asgardian magic. As a result, they've often clashed with Thor, but it's hard to think of a superhero these guys haven't been beaten up by over the years!

It seems likely this iteration will be powered up by Gamma Rays, but that remains to be seen (Jennifer gains her abilities after receiving a blood transfusion from her cousin, Bruce Banner).

Tatiana Maslany will play the title character in She-Hulk, while Mark Ruffalo is set to reprise the role of The Hulk. Tim Roth returns as The Abomination, while Jameela Jamil was recently cast as Titania. Ginger Gonzaga and Renée Elise Goldsberry have also joined the series as undisclosed characters.

She-Hulk is expected to premiere on Disney+ in 2022.

I have wanted to see these guys show up from the first Thor. Kind of thought we would see them in Love and Thunder, but I will take this.

I'm kinda expecting them to be used in a cold open where Jennifer first beats them as She-Hulk, and then also beats them in court

@DoubleD - Same! Been waiting awhile for the Wrecking Crew. Between them, the casting, and what seems to be some comedic vibes - I'm looking forward to it!

This would definitely be more than just a little interesting if true, which I hope it is.

Each member of the Wrecking Crew had an enchanted weapon made of the Asgardian metal Uru. Hopefully their MCU origins stick close to the comics. Being gamma powered isn’t as interesting to me.

@PerrinNation1 - since when? All I know about is the wrecking ball & crowbar.

@PerrinNation1 - I don’t think they’re made of uru, just some enchanted earth stuff. But yeah that is more fun that gamma.

@SpideyQuad - Wrecker had his crowbar. Thunderball had his ball and chain. Bulldozer had his helmet. Piled river had his gauntlets. Each of the Crew had 1/4 of Thor’s strength so together they were “like Thor”.

Man all this stuff crammed into one show, where the episodes are only a half hour. Idk, we'll see
