A common compliment that The Umbrella Academy has received since its launch is that the show features an awesome, addictive soundtrack. Not one, but seven tunes from the show featured on The Hollywood Reporter's Top TV Songs chart, with the list being topped off by Tiffany's I Think We're Alone Now. This is not surprising, as the song is featured in the very first episode of the new Netflix series during an interesting dance number.

Tunefind provides song and show data for the Top TV Songs chart and that data is then blended with streaming and sales tracking information correlated by Nielsen Music during the corresponding period to find the rankings for the chart.

Harry Nilsson also lands on the list thanks to Netflix's Russian Doll, but go ahead and take a look at the full chart of songs below and let us know which of these tunes is your favorite!

1. "I Think We're Alone Now," Tiffany, The Umbrella Academy (Netflix)
2. "Run Boy Run," Woodkid, The Umbrella Academy (Netflix)
3. "
Gotta Get Up," Harry Nilsson, Russian Doll (Netflix)
4. "Istanbul," They Might Be Giants, The Umbrella Academy (Netflix)
5. "This Year's Love," David Gray, The Umbrella Academy (Netflix)
6. "Say a Little Prayer," Lianne La Havas, This Is Us (NBC)
7. "Phantom of the Opera Medley," Lindsey Stirling, The Umbrella Academy (Netflix)
8. "No Expectations," AG featuring Barcelona, The Good Doctor (ABC)
9. "Never Tear Us Apart," Paloma Faith, The Umbrella Academy (Netflix)
10. "Shingaling," Tom Swoon, The Umbrella Academy (Netflix)

The Umbrella Academy revolves around a dysfunctional family of adopted sibling superheroes who reunite to solve the mystery of their father's death, and the oncoming threat of the apocalypse.

The Umbrella Academy is available to stream now on Netflix.

I loved Umbrella Academy. One of the few comic book adaptations where I came in completely unfamiliar with the source material, so no prior attachment/goodwill, and I still loved every episode. Only downside is blowing through it in 1 week means long-ass wait for season 2.

Oh, and it did incorporate music as well as any other show I can think of (but 5 minutes after I hit post, I’m sure I’ll think of another show that did it better).
