Lucasfilm has released some of the end credits concept art from last Wednesday's episode of The Book of Boba Fett, and we find the iconic bounty hunter acclimating to his new life among the Tusken Raiders.

While many fans would have loved to see a series about Boba Fett in his prime, The Book of Boba Fett is definitely delivering its fair share of surprises. As well as exploring the bounty hunter's efforts to take over from Jabba the Hutt and Bib Fortuna as Tatooine's new ruler, post-Return of the Jedi flashbacks are in the midst of revealing Fett's unexpected alliance with the planet's Sand People.

The Tusken Raiders have never really been fully explored in Star Wars movies or TV shows, but The Mandalorian was first to hint that there might be more to them than initially meets the eye.

Now, Fett is becoming part of their society and we can't help but wonder whether tragedy leads to him eventually seeking out his armour again. The Book of Boba Fett hopefully won't head down such a clichéd route, but no matter how this story ends, it's been fascinating to get a glimpse into life on Tatooine for the Tusken Raiders (especially when they've so typically been portrayed as cannon fodder villains).

The third episode of the series arrives on Disney+ this Wednesday, and you'll want to check back here then for a breakdown of the biggest reveals and plot twists in this corner of a Galaxy Far, Far Away.

This show has been oddly cheap looking compared to much of Mando, but that train sequence and all the sand raider stuff has been stellar. Hopefully the main plot starts to pick up and come into focus, because while I've liked what they've shown, it's been way too limited to really get me interested at this point

I’m liking the show and how they explain what happened between Return of the Jedi and the Mandalorian. Hoping the action picks up more and more each episode.

I'm enjoying the show, but I'm nowhere close to loving it like I did Mando, and not because of Grogu, I kinda hated Baby Yoda, especially because he was just a cooing mcguffin. He wasn't a character, but thats not my point. I loved Mando and the stories they told and the production value. I'm not getting any of that from this.

My favourite piece of concept art from the show was the one of the Tuskian Raiders in sandstorm.
