Deadline is reporting that Sony Pictures has enlisted composer Ludwig Göransson to score Ruben Fleischer's upcoming Spider-Man spinoff film, Venom. The move reunites Göransson with Fleischer after they worked together on the 2011 Jesse Eisenberg/Aziz Ansari comedy 30 Minutes or Less.

Göransson most recently worked with Marvel Studios on Ryan Coogler's critically-acclaimed blockbuster, Black Panther, and his past credits include Creed, Fruitvale Station, Stretch, Top Five, Death Wish, Community, Happy Endings, New Girl, and Angie Tribeca

Academy Award-nominated actor Tom Hardy (Dunkirk) headlines the talented cast that also features 4x Academy Award-nominee Michelle Williams (The Greatest Showman), Primetime Emmy-winner Riz Ahmed (The Night Of), Jenny Slate (Gifted), Reid Scott (Veep), Scott Haze (Thank You For Your Service), and 3x Academy Award-nominee Woody Harrelson (Solo: A Star Wars Story).
