As a special treat to its dedicated fans (some of which, presumably own PS4s), Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics have unveiled the Collector's Edition for their upcoming timed Xbox-exclusive Rise Of The Tomb Raider featuring more than a few exclusive items including an intricately designed 12" Lara Croft statue that brings the iconic video game heroine, portrayed by Camilla Luddington (Grey's Anatomy), to life.

The Collector's Edition is currently listed at $149.99 and is available for pre-order at the official Tomb Raider Store

  • Full retail copy of Rise of the Tomb Raider for Xbox One
  • 12”-tall statue of Lara Croft, which depicts her searching for answers on her first Tomb Raiding Expedition.
  • Collectible steel case
  • A replica of Lara’s leather in-game journal.
  • A model of Lara's Jade Necklace, including the pendant that was her first archeological discovery, and the strap that was given to her by Conrad Roth, her late mentor.

What do you guys think? Will you be picking this up? Or are you waiting for the game to hit PS4? Sound off with your thoughts below!

In the critically acclaimed Tomb Raider, Lara Croft survived a harrowing experience only to be discredited as part of a cover up. Now, after uncovering an ancient mystery, Lara must explore the most treacherous and remote regions of Siberia to find the secret of immortality before a ruthless organization known as Trinity. Lara must use her wits and survival skills, form new alliances, and ultimately embrace her destiny as the Tomb Raider.

Experience high-octane action moments, conquer beautifully hostile environments, engage in brutal guerilla combat, and explore awe-inspiring deadly tombs in the evolution of survival action. In Rise of the Tomb Raider, Lara becomes more than a survivor as she embarks on her first great Tomb Raiding expedition.

Rise Of The Tomb Raider hits Xbox on November 10; PS4 in Q4 2016

Why does the game hit PS4 a year later than the Xbox One version?

I'm sure this isn't the first time "12 inch" and "Lara Croft" have been used in the same sentence

Fully clothed Lara Croft Statue? I'm not sure if that's ballsy or just stupid.

@KingPatel What the he'll Brother? Old school AngelinaRaider and no shower scene?

Also, I agree about the Site being annoying as [frick] lately. The ads are manageable, on my phone or Kindle. I don't even see them on my PC. Maybe that's because I use Chrome.... but even on my PC I get no articles when I open my favorites tab(which is set to "News") more often than not! I have to go to "Home" to see any new content, and as I'm sure we all know, it doesn't have most of the good articles.

Anyways. They're REALLY not releasing this for PlayStation until a whole year after it comes out?! That's [frick]ed!
