We recently found out that Patty Jenkins had officially signed on to helm the sequel to her block-busting Wonder Woman movie, and now we have word on the writer Warner Bros. has hired to work with her on the story.

According to THR, The Expendables co-writer Dave Callaham has been brought in to pen the sequel's script with Jenkins and Geoff Johns, who have reportedly been working on a treatment for several months.

Apparently, Jenkins is the one that brought Callaham into the fold as the pair had already been working on an English-language adaptation of Jo Nesbo's Jackpot, which was going to be the director's next project before she committed to bringing us Diana's next big-screen adventure.

The plot of Wonder Woman 2 remains a mystery for now, but Jenkins has previously expressed interest in setting the action in Cold War America. Plus, don't be surprised if we get an invisible jet appearance!
