This is off the topic somewhat but when people go to buy wolverine on the blu ray or dvd which ending are you getting or does it matter??

I only saw the bootleg, didnt mind sabretooth and wolvie as bros. but as a movie period (not comic book movie, just a movie) it wasn't good. i liked x3 more than this. that bein said i didnt see it in theaters so i will wait til they show it on tv to formulate my final opinion but i still think i wont like it. and i'm not even a hardcore wolvie or deadpool fan.

I enjoyed the movie. I would give it a C. Very cool fun flick. I just can't compare it to the comics b/c these are different universes. I didn't mind the Adamantium bullets, and I love that Logan and Creed were half brothers. Deadpool as Weopon XI was better then I thought it was going to be, but I would've preferred it not to be Deadpool. I like how this movie sets up X-men origins First class. Gambit was cool it's just a shame that Sawyer from Lost is too old to play him. I don't mind the lack of accent. FUN movie. Better then any Jason Statham movie.(excluding the Guy Ritchie ones)

The movie was good if you dont know anything about Wolverine or the Marvel universe.

anymore with films like this,,, come on, we've seen stuff like WATCHMEN, TDK, IRON MAN etc etc that's UP'ED the Anti on these movies, why make excuses, it was dire as a comic book movie!!! WOLVERINE's like LOTRs to some people! Do you think KEVIN JACKSON wouldn't get flack if he done his own spin on LOLRs, hell yeah, what about if we just REBOOT the STAR WARS Universe too!!!! Seriously, i was expecting DARTH VADER to be LOGAN's and CREED's FATHER!!!! Lmao! I wont go there with WEAPON ( Ive been thought up by a 5 year old lol). As far as i go with that it some kinda clone, an we get a real DEADPOOL with Red an Black Spandex in his own movie, hopefully with a BULLSEYE appearance! ; ) ... Did you even know this movie was gonna happen way before the X-MEN came out but years went by and they went with X-MEN as Special effects became cheaper!!! Talking special effects did we need all of it, how about less special effects more story!!! THE FILM SEEMED REALLY RUSHED FROM START TO FINISH! I reckon everyone of us could've done a better WOLVERINE movie!!! Okay better stop coz ppl tend to not read if its too long! Heh heh : D

I agree with DABOYHARM, it is a badly made movie and is even getting bad press reviews over here in the U.K. I just can't help feeling that some people are being too kind towards the film, maybe because it's Hugh Jackman playing a popular comic strip character or what I don't know. All I know is that if we as fans of comic books/Graphic Novels and even the ordinary man and woman off the street with even a passing interest in comic book adaptions, is unable to speak the truth when it comes to the quality of these types of films, then get ready for an onslaught of poorly made superhero films in the future.

How many bad movies do we need to put up with until we get the gems LEEEE777? Bottom line is is that these movies are the exceptional few that manage to break thru as examples of good film making Story, Plot, Acting,Direction,etc. I think that there have been more bad Comic book adaptions over the years than good ones. In the end even the good ones won't be able to prop up the bad ones for long.

I thought it better than X Men 1..easily in fact! Go watch that movie again and i guarantee you will be surprised by how mediocre it actually is. Everyone was so exited to finally see the characters onscreen that they forgot all about the crapness of certain bits. There is dialogue in that movie that makes Wolverine seem like Shakespear..and the whole ending on the statue of Liberty was worse than the 3 mile island ending in Wolverine too. X2 is much better obviously, but thats one of my fave movies full stop!

I like X-MEN 1 alot an WOLVERINE ain't touching it by a mile!!! If it wasn't for that movie and Singer, we wouldn't have half the movie's today including ofcourse WOLVERINE lol! An don't MARVEL have a say about stuff like WARZONE and WOLVERINE??? Don't they have to approve everything? Its a real damn shame too as WOLVERINE and PUNISHER are both in my top 10 comicbook characters! Shame. I say role on IRON MAN II and GREEN LANTERN!!!

I gave it a 5/10. I left the theatre thinking, eh that was ok.

As usual i felt they were trying to pack as much as they could into these movies without carefully picking and choosing what would actually be great for the movie.
Besides having some of the worst cgi I've seen in a while, it was rushed, many parts left you thinking why? and it just felt incredibly convenient.

5/10. I wont go see it again or rent it when it comes out on dvd

Nice review. I definitely wish they'd stuck to the comic stories more closely. If they had, the movie could have been on par with TDK. I didn't mind the adamantium bullet bit, but I *WISH* they'd stuck w/ how he lost his memories in BWS' Weapon X. I'd also have liked to see a more brutal Wolverine. But I told myself, when I first saw a version of the script online, that I'd have to take the on-screen Wolverine as a separate continuity.

Just watched the review above again and i noticed they mentioned Stryker from the first xmen movies. That guy is a genius of a character actor! Bryan Cox, IMDB him. He's been everything from braveheart to supertroopers. He's kinda like gary oldman, they fit into character so well sometimes you cant see who they are until halfway through the movie.
