Nice one Taboo. This looks great. I was sick of batman related animations until Red Hood, not I don't care if they all have Batman in em as long as they are as good as that!

Under the Red Hood had a lot of heart. I love DC animations. Lauren Montgomery did Wonder Woman, which was one of the best, and there's a lot of talent behind this so I'm definitely excited!!!

Cool vid, Tabby! Great story, great characters. Kevin Conroy and Tim Daly back as Bats and Supes is awesome, not to mention Andre Braugher and Summer Glau are very cool additions. Michael Turner's artwork, and more specifically his female forms, are the perfect complement to this story. Loves me some New God action! I can't wait for this one!

All of the dc animated movies have been great! Jeph Loeb is an amazing writer! One of the very best, I cannot wait for this adaptation of his supergirl story arc!! Looks great!!

Like someone else said, I too haven't been very pleased with the Batman animated movies UNTIL the Red Hood. Very good story! But, Mask of the Phantasm and Mr. Freeze both sucked. Loved Public Enemies and this looks outstanding! The rest of the DC animated films have been excellent too, in particular Dr. Strange and Wonder Woman! I wished, tho, that the animation art looked more like Turners. But, that's a small complaint.

Under the Red Hood was so fkn good it I hope they can match it with this.

Good work TABS, and yeah, Poni will spruce an article on the DL. He's done that for me before. Such a do-gooder hahah. People may talk smack about him, but don't let the act fool you, he's no glory hound ;)

You know how DC said there would be a variety, somewhat of the characters they use? Well I'm starting to get pissed off announcement after announcement.
Batman: Under the Red Hood
Superman/Batman: Apocalypse
Batman: Year One
All-Star Superman
I swear, the next animated movie after All-Star is Batman or Superman or Batman. I like the quality of these animated movies. Apocalypse looks [frick]ing epic. But it's called DC universe original animated movie, Not unoriginal big two extravaganza.

I know some are complaining that there have been to much Superman and Batman movies but the thing is not enough people buy other characters.

Next film after All Star Superman is Green Lantern Emerald Knights. That's a step something different.

Yeah, I just watched the Red Hood and it was good... But DC needs to explore the other characters in it's universe. I would love to see a Preacher animated feature or Sandman ( Golden Age or Gaiman version ), how about a Zatana feature or maybe even the Flash or Aquaman. I think its time for them to expand their horizons. Look, I love the DCU animated movies but it get's tiresome seeing Batman or Wonder Woman or Superman.... DC has over 70 some odd years of great characters... if you do a Green Lantern animated feature do it on Alan Scott. Challengers of the Unknown would make a great animated feature with sequels.... Come on Warner Bros. THINK!

Gee I wonder what will Bruce Timm produce next? Maybe Superman or Batman? You've shown the world "The Justice League" already. The world knows who the superheroes are so start giving them their own movies you idiot!

On a positive note, can't wait for this to come out. I just might buy this one. But if it is as crappy as the "Death of Supes" then I'll HAVE to skip it. Hope the fight between Supes and Darkseid won't be disappointing.

He doesn't decide he helps make them and they tried doing other heroes and not enough people bought them that's why we see so many Superman and Batman films.

Green Lantern Emerald Knights is coming and Geoff Johns has said they want to expand the heroes being used but for now the only blame goes to the people who didn't buy Wonder Woman and Green Lantern like they did the Superman and Batman dvd's

Thanks for posting this...that made me so excited for this and i was already really really excited for this movie. DC always brings the goodness (pun intended..granny goodness) with their animated movies and this one looks to be the best.

2 of my favorite comic characters (best hero Superman and best comic villain Darkseid)..and throw in Batman and Supergirl and it makes for a great great story. Can't wait till September 28th!

This (Batman;Redhood) looks like it has the potencial to take the first place spot from my current fav, Wonder Woman animated feature. We will see........ tonight!
