Nice little clip. But Disney's North American promotion clips have all been showing humor, fun, and colorful characters all around exclusively. I wonder why they've kept all the "less uplifting", maybe sorrowful moments (if there are any). Maybe audiences don't respond to those.

They've released a lot of TV spots. I just want another trailer.

Because that's what the American audience want to see. Something fun and uplifting with jokes and humor to draw them in. Rumor has it that that was one of the main reason as to why How to train your dragons 2 didn't do so well in the US because the promotion focused more on the story instead of the fun. Go look at the Japanese trailer of BH6 and you can see the change of tone in the promotion. As in more of the story of BH6 is focused on instead of the humor.

Indeed. I wondered because I saw the Japanese trailer, and remarked on just how different it was in tone and focus. People in the US (and North America in general) are just looking for a good time more than anything else when they go to the movies. That wasn't always the case (I remember a time when family films could be etremely touching, and emotionally challenging, and people didn't shy away from them), but I guess when the average Joe thinks of an animated movie, they instinctively expect to see a story more focused on fun and adventure.

I personally like it when there's both elements : some fun, and a few emotional, heavy moments that help you truly connect with the characters.
It's very hard to do, and to balance out. Nobody wants just doom and gloom,or just endless exaltation. One example of near-perfect balance is Wreck-it-Ralph. If Big Hero 6 is in that same vein, it'll be a good movie for sure. And perhaps more importantly, It'll have big replay value :D

i still dont understand why they dont have MARVEL logo in there, considering how popular their movies are it seems like a no-brainer to me.

@seamuskeaneart They've already said why. It's because there were so many changes to the team and the film that it doesn't reflect the team from the comics anymore so they didn't want to publicize it as a Marvel property.
