G.I.Joe: Renegades features some nice voice talent. From Clancy Brown as Destro, and Lee Majors as Hawk this toon has some nice potential to give G.I Joe a cartoon come back!

Now for the official synopsis:

'Branded as renegades for crimes they did not commit, a heroic group of young G.I.s is forced to "turn fugitive" as they battle to clear their names, and expose the evil that is COBRA Industries — a seemingly benevolent mega-corporation covertly controlled by a rogues gallery intent on creating a New World Order.'

Dont forget to check out the below bootlegged video from the 2010SDCC! Bling!!

A 26-episode season of G.I.Joe: Renegades is currently in development and will air alongside Transformers: Prime in the Fall of 2010.

If you dont like this post then me and LEEE will beat you to a bloody pulp! Thats right true believers! Dark Horse of the Cartoon slate! Go JOE!!!

So it's GI Joe as The Killers, while also whitewashing the patriotism from the original out of it? God forbid we brand COBRA as terrorists and instead make it a corporation. There's just no black and white anymore. Plus I just don't get the overuse of the giant gooey slime monsters in action cartoons...

Hey my first post, keep up the good work guys!

This looks like shit compared to G.I. Joe: Resolute , which was one of the best animated movies of all time.

i swear i think most of the new animation blows, resolute was amazing!! give us that. Hopefully it will be good.

If it's warmed over anime with the crappy dialogue and crap facial expressions and animated oversized sweat beads to show "nervousness" then I will frickin' puke. I would take the classic in all its 80's camp glory anyday to that crap. Anime sucks donkey wee-wee and so does the dialogue that goes with it. Resolute was awesome, they should go with that. Also not big on the A-Team angle either. JUST GO BACK TO WHAT WORKS!!!!!

My 10 year old son and I are watching the GI Joe season 1 DVDs and he thinks this looks like poo. GIJoe is our military going after terrorist! What happened to 'Resolute" style that came out a year or so ago? That bad ass!

Resolute was bad a$$ for multiple reasons: animation was top notch and it was written by Warren Ellis, a man who respects his fans, and understands that we grew up and wanted some mature action.

Pretty sure this effort will not catch on.

Wow, again with the "fugitives for a crime they didn't commit" thing. First A-Team, then Losers, and now G.I. Joe is too?
