Avengers Assemble is awful. I've tried to like it, but it's just no good. Every episode is the same - Avengers vs. Cabal. It's either them or Dr. Doom. Can't they come up with some new villains to fight? Or some new heroes to showcase? They've fought Doom like three times, but the FF have never shown up. They fight Atuma every week, but no Namor? Dracula is part of the Cabal, but Blade hasn't shown up? And how many times can Tony learn the lesson "Technology isn't everything"? It's like the third time in 10 episodes.

I gave up after the space phantom episode.

I get that they were trying to make a tribute to Avengers #2. But that was bad.

I grew up watching the 90's shows (X-Men, Fantastic Four, Iron Man, Spider-Man, The Incredible Hulk, Silver Surfer). Those were the best.

Even in the 00's they still made great shows (X-Men: Evolution, Fantastic Four: World's Greatest Heroes, Wolverine and the X-Men, The Spectacular Spider-Man).

But now we're stuck with crap like Ultimate Spider-Man, Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H, Avengers Assemble... It's like they're too busy with live action to give a [frick] about their animated shows anymore.

At its best the animation in Ultimate Spiderman is very good. For that charcter its as fluid as id like especially when the teams fighting venom. I have no idea who animates Avengers and Hulk because every episodes looks like theyve used the bare minumum of frames and reused them to make up the 22 minutes. Its just lazy. Ignoring the wirting just compare the animation to Xmen Evolution, Hulk VS, Ultimate Avengers, Spectacular Spiderman and Ultimate Spiderman. These shows are so far behind its not even funny. Its actually unacceptable that DC managed to create a phenominally animated series in Young Justice with charcter designs nearly identical to their animated movie counterparts but marvel struggle with models far less detailed. I love Marvel but they must know they can do better. Invest in better animators.

I haven't even watched Avengers Assemble or Hulk Agents Of SMASH because of the unanimously bad reviews I've read. I gave Ultimate Spider-Man a try the first season, but it just lost me. The constant stopping the story in the middle of the episodes, goofiness, and fourth wall breaking got way too annoying for me. Spectacular Spider-Man was so much better. EMH was a great cartoon as well, I hate that it's over with. DC and Marvel are both pretty terrible on the cartoon front. DC had two great shows in Young Justice and Green Lantern, and they replaced them with that garbage Teen Titans Go series that's a disgrace to the original Titans show. Beware The Batman was decent, but now it's gone apparently, didn't even have a full season smh.

These shows are shit. Mega shit. I've worked in the industry for 7 years and I would not be surprised if Marvel/Disney is getting all the animation done for cheap by interns or fresh college graduates with no experience. I've worked on a few shows where that was the case, and even they look better than these. Shame on Marvel for crapping out such mediocrity.

I have given both a serious chance...and as bad as Ultimate Spiderman can be, its by far the best of the three..sad.

Hire the old Young Justice team and get their asses to work..wtf. I would say why does all Marvel Cartoon suck, but reality is all the CB cartoons are at best poor right now...
