With Ant-Man and the Wasp due out in theaters in just over a month, Marvel Studios has released a ton of never-before-seen promotional art, in full hi-resolution, featuring brand new looks at the titular heroes as they shrink down and race into action.

Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly headline the feature with a supporting cast that features several returning faces, including Michael Peña, Bobby Cannavale, Judy Greer, Tip "T.I." Harris, David Dastmalchian, Abby Ryder-Fortson, and Michael Douglas. The new additions include Walton Goggins, Hannah John-Kamen, Randall Park, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Laurence Fishburne.

As he struggles to rebalance his home life with his responsibilities as a Super Hero, Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) finds himself suiting up as Ant-Man once again when he must join forces with Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly), The Wasp, on an urgent mission to uncover secrets from the past.

While the majority of the film will see Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) and the Wasp (Evangeline Lilly) looking for a way to rescue Janet, they'll also have plenty of trouble on the homefront with the arrival of Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen).

The film will pick shortly after the events of Captain America: Civil War, with Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) wasting away on house arrest. However, when Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) and Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) arrive on his doorstep with an urgent mission, he is quick to leap back into action.

Here's the official synopsis: "From the Marvel Cinematic Universe comes “Ant Man and The Wasp,” a new chapter featuring heroes with the astonishing ability to shrink. In the aftermath of “Captain America: Civil War,” Scott Lang grapples with the consequences of his choices as both a Super Hero and a father. As he struggles to rebalance his home life with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, he’s confronted by Hope van Dyne and Dr. Hank Pym with an urgent new mission. Scott must once again put on the suit and learn to fight alongside The Wasp as the team works together to uncover secrets from the past.."

Considering how Avengers: Infinity War ended, it remains to be seen exactly where in the Marvel Cinematic Universe timeline Ant-Man and the Wasp takes place, but based on the two trailers, it does appear to occur sometime before Thanos' arrival on Earth.

Following his debut in Captain America: Civil War, expect Giant-Man (Paul Rudd) to have a big part to play in this latest adventure as Scott and Hope (Evangeline Lilly) face their biggest challenge yet.

Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) will both be seen sporting new-and-improved costumes from the ones we saw in the original film. Scott continues to wear his Civil War helmet while Hope finally gets to head out into the field with her yellow-and-blue duds.

Hannah John-Kamen plays the villain of the piece, Ghost, who gains her abilities by stealing some Pym technology.

While her motives remain unclear, Ghost's (Hannah John-Kamen) ability to phase through objects will make her an incredibly difficult adversary to stop.

After sitting out the first adventure, Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) will no longer be relegated to the sideline this time around as she suits up alongside Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) to take on Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen) and to find her mother (Michelle Pfeiffer).

The full cast list features plenty of familiar names as well as some welcome new additions: “Ant-Man and The Wasp” is directed by Peyton Reed and stars Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Pena, Walton Goggins, Bobby Cannavale, Judy Greer, Tip “T.I.” Harris, David Dastmalchian, Hannah John-Kamen, Abby Ryder-Fortson, Randall Park, with Michelle Pfeiffer, with Laurence Fishburne, and Michael Douglas.

This film will mark Scott Lang's (Paul Rudd) third appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and will presumably be his final appearance before playing a key role in next year's Avengers 4

Marvel Studios opted not to introduce the Wasp (Evangeline Lilly) in Captain America: Civil War, which was probably a good decision since a brief cameo wouldn't have done a fan-favorite character of her caliber justice.

According to the most recent trailer, Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) will be able to get up to 65 feet tall as Giant-Man, which should come in handy.

While it was believed that it was impossible to escape the Quantum Realm in the first film, Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) proved Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) wrong and managed to escape during the film's climactic battle. The new film will see him team with Hope (Evangeline Lilly) to find a way back to the mysterious realm in order to find Janet van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer).

While Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) took centerstage the first time around, it really seems like the new movie will shift the focus to his trusted partner-in-crime, The Wasp (Evangeline Lilly) as she tracks down her long-lost mother (Michelle Pfeiffer).

Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen) is undoubtedly the villain of the piece, but it remains to be seen whether or not she's working alone or if she has a secret partner.

While he'll have plenty on his plate throughout the film, including a deadly new villain, Scott Lang's (Paul Rudd) primary concern will always be his relationship with his daughter (Abby Ryder-Fortson).

After growing up thinking her mother (Michelle Pfeiffer) had died when she was seven, Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) will be more commited than ever to rescuing her from the Quantum Realm.

After sitting out Avengers: Infinity War, both Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) and the Wasp (Evangeline Lilly) will officially join Earth's Mightiest Heroes in next year's still-untitled Avengers 4. While we don't know the extent of their roles, we do know that at least one of them will be traveling through time with Captain America (Chris Evans), Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), and the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo).

Ant-Man and the Wasp will be the twentieth entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Don't miss it when it shrinks into theaters on July 6th.

I realized the other day that if both Scott and Hope survive the snap at the end of this movie then we’ll finally have the full original comic Avengers line up in Avengers 4. Obviously there’s a few extra like Rocket, Nebula, Cap, and War Machine but the classic team will be together for the first and maybe only time in this movie.

@Ha1frican - Does it count if it's not Hank and Janet?

Ha1frican - 5/22/2018, 12:26 PM
@ICStoopedPeople - I think so. Hope is pretty much Janet from the ultimate universe and Scott is the modern day Ant-Man. I mean yeah it’s not 100% page to screen but nothing in the MCU ever really has been and usually with better results (except yknow Mandarin and a few other things)

Aside from making the gold more yellow, I really wish the red lines weren't all over Hope suit. Make her all black and yellow like Scot is all Red and Black.

Aside from that I like the overall design of her suit and the wings.

I don't see any yellow on the suit, it looks completely black. Oh, also the green on the prototype suit still looks bad and the suit looks baggy.

Yup, you fools know who you are.

Anyways, promo pics look great!! Looking forward to the movie!

Imagine that the users on this site are like a group of 100 soccer fans at a stadium (soccer fans are very passionate about their sport, as you all know). 99 of these fans get along with each other- they cause no problems, don't fight with each other, are peaceful and respectful, cheer and embrace when their team (which in this case is comic book movies and shows in general) they are watching is exciting and delivers in spectacle and quality. They don't blame others for random stuff, don't accuse others of being trolls, don't act negative and complain about minor stuff; they are fairly quiet most of the time and are a great group to be around, very friendly and cheerful and like to joke around and laugh. But there's always that 1 fan who isn't like the rest...

I just got back onto this site after a week off the grid, and I see that some things never change. Anyways, to the "99 fans" on this site, nice to interact with you all again!
