Kang Asks Scott Lang If He's "Killed Him Before?" In New ANT-MAN AND THE WASP: QUANTUMANIA TV Spot

Marvel Studios (via Cinemark Theaters) has shared a new 30-second TV spot for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, and this latest teaser for the MCU's first Phase 5 film features quite a bit of exciting new footage.

While the promo does reuse some shots from the most recent trailer, we also get a first glimpse of Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) in his Giant-Man form as he calls out Kang the Conqueror (Jonathan Majors) and lays waste to some Quantum Realm architecture.

We also hear Kang ask Scott if he's killed him before after learning that he's an Avenger. This obviously suggests that the powerful villain has faced-off with (and vanquished) numerous other Variants of Earth's Mightiest Heroes throughout the Multiverse.

Check out the new spot at the link below.

Super-Hero partners Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) return to continue their adventures as Ant-Man and the Wasp. Together, with Hope’s parents Janet van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer) and Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), and Scott’s daughter Cassie Lang (Kathryn Newton), the family finds themselves exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought possible.

Directed by Peyton Reed and produced by Kevin Feige and Stephen Broussard, Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania also stars Jonathan Majors as Kang, David Dastmalchian as Veb, Katy O'Brian as Jentorra, William Jackson Harper as Quaz and Bill Murray as Lord Krylar.

The sci-fi adventure opens in theaters on Feb. 17, 2023.

This looks real good and I don't really get some complaints about the CG and art design looking wack and reminding people of Sharkboy and Lavagirl. Like out of all Marvel films, this is the one that looks piss poor to y'all? Every still with Majors in it is a work of art.

@WakandanQueen - I think the cinematography looks great. It has to be cgi it takes place in the quantum realm. Peyton Reed has improved heavily. His Mando episodes have been great.

@WakandanQueen - well when the majority of the movie looks like Attack of the Clones, yeah I'm gonna complain lol

So my crazy connection theory is that He Who Remains battled and killed some of his variants and trapped the worst one (Kang) in the Quantum Realm. And the reason the TVA allowed The Avengers to use the Quantum Realm is because they were using it strictly to time travel and not for exploration. Shang Chi's 10 rings and Ms. Marvel's bangles are pieces of Kang's Time Chair that He Who Remains scattered through time. Unfortunately the Kree brought the bangle back to the same planet the 10 Rings were on. Now that He Who Remains is dead and all of the Universe 616 firewalls are down. Kang wants America's powers to Multiverse Travel.

@SonOfAGif - beautiful theory that connects everything

@SonOfAGif - my guess is you're right on regarding the rings and bangle(s).

@SonOfAGif - "Kang wants America's powers to Multiverse Travel." So... Southwest Airlines then?

Because they have the ability to make a 2 hour flight seem like an eternity (plus your luggage will arrive in the QR WAY before you do, and then there's the chance that Bill Murray will do something questionable with it before you find it).

@SonOfAGif - Yes. Bravo but I was confused for about 30 seconds about what power America has that could benefit Kang and then

I don't find him menacing at all....but that's probably because I hardly know anything about Kang 💀

@Spawnnn - I usually find MCU films derivative as all [frick]. But this one looks hype IMO

My only concern is how the [frick] Ant Man can put up any real fight against Kang.
