MTV News caught up with Chris Evans yesterday while he was making his Wondercon rounds promoting the Warner Bros comic adaptation
The Losers. The question put to the recently confirmed Captain America actor was whether or not the Star Spangled Avenger will be calling the shots in Marvel's highly anticipated Avengers live action movie; which is rumored to begin filming early next year.
"I don't know if they're going to make him the boss," Evans said.
"His character... He's a good guy."
"Does he [run the show]?" Evans answered quizzically.
"I don't think anybody tells Downey what to do, and that's what makes [him] Downey."
The Avengers will unite heroes Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Captain America (Chris Evans) and Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) on screen for the first time in Marvel history. Though Edward Norton (Bruce Banner/Hulk) has yet to be confirmed for the film, it is rumored that he will play an integral part in it.
