The Marvel Cinematic Universe is now more or less heading into its next phase. With sequels coming out for all its most well established Avengers characters. So my thought was for the sequels instead of establishing the heroes, why not establish the Vilians basically set up the Masters of Evil?

Most people have spoiled the end credits scene after the Avengers movie. So why not have that as a jumping off point for the Masters of Evil. So with the end credits reveal pulling the strings why not have him pop in the sequels for Captain America, Thor, Iron Man and hopefully the Incredible Hulk and offer the villians of those sequels the opportunity to join him and destroy the Avengers which is just a ploy for his master plan which if people are familiar with this entity now what his true motivations are.

Please post comments/thoughts.

That'll be good. We need TIH2 so we can get The Leader, Loki(?), The Enchantress, Mandarin, Baron Zemo or MODOK in The Masters of Evil. That'll be a more personal story, Whedon spoke of. So -- that definitely appears to be the route their going with that one. Except, I still think that's a fairly weak Masters of Evil team-up. Phase 2 should entail the Kree-Skrull War. But the upcoming slate of films don't support that. And if Phase 3 features Civil War possibly, I want Kree-Skrull War beforehand. They need much more characters- first- to do Civil War right.

going bigger & more explosive doesnt mean better. Marvel really needs to stay clear of the superhero formula. Avengers 2 shld be more internal. Setting up Black Widow as a betrayer would be great.

You are correct, sir! Thanos would never align himself with the Masters of Evil. They are minor league compared to him.

They need to continue doing the solo films, and they can even continue with the Avengers movies and their own movies. have a build up to an Infinity Gauntlet movie, but make it its own thing.

They should not do an IG movie in an Avengers flick. It should be a movie all in itself that involves the cosmic side of things as well as the avengers. They would need a lot of building to get to that point, but it would be better than watering down the Infinity Gauntlet so much that the Avengers can defeat it themselves.
