Batman Beyond: The Complete Series will be distributed by Warner Home Video on November 23, 2010 as a nine-disc limited edition DVD set for $99.98 (SRP).

Batman Beyond: The Complete Series centers on Terry McGinnis, an ordinary teenager ... until his father is mysteriously murdered. Suspecting foul play at his father's company, Wayne/Powers Corporation, Terry meets Bruce Wayne and learns of a secret identity hidden for decades. Now too old to don the cape and cowl as Batman, Wayne refuses to help – so Terry does what any brash young kid would do: steal the Bat-suit and take matters into his own hands! Vowing to avenge his father's death, Terry dons the high-tech suit tricked out with jetpacks, a supersensitive microphone and even camouflage capabilities in search of his father's assassin. It’s 52 action-packed episodes following the adventures of the partnership between an ex-crimefighter and his apprentice, starring Will Friedle (Boy Meets World) as Terry McGinnis and, reprising his seminal role, Kevin Conroy (Batman: The Animated Series) as Bruce Wayne.

Casting throughout the series’ 52 episodes featured award winners from feature films, primetime television and the Broadway stage – from Paul Winfield, Stockard Channing and Seth Green to
William H. Macy, Wayne Brady and Teri Garr – not to mention George Lazenby (On Her Majesty’s Secret Service), Dan Castellaneta (The Simpsons), Jodi Benson (The Little Mermaid), George Takei (Star Trek) and Henry Rollins (the front man for the rock band, Black Flag).

An all-star production team was headed by executive producer Jean MacCurdy and producers Bruce Timm, Alan Burnett, Glen Murakami and Paul Dini. Writers on the series included Burnett and Dini, as well as Stan Berkowitz, Bob Goodman, Rich Fogel, Hilary Bader and John McCann.

Included in the beautifully custom designed package is a 24-page, 8”x 12” collectible booklet with the inside perspective and artwork from the vaults especially compiled by DC Comics for this release.

Three new bonus features created specifically for the Batman Beyond: The Complete Series are:

TOMORROW KNIGHT: THE BATMAN REBORN
The "Batman Beyond" creative team gives you a peek into the character of Terry McGinnis, and what made him worthy to become the new Caped Crusader.

GOTHAM: CITY OF THE FUTURE
A look at Gotham City, circa 2039, and how the team built a realistic vision of the near future while remaining true to the city they created in Batman: The Animated Series.

THE HIGH TECH HERO
Explore the technology behind the Bat-suit, its amazing powers and the real world science that inspired it.

The collection will also contain the DC 75th anniversary documentary, Secret Origin: The Story of DC Comics.

“Batman Beyond was a landmark series as it created altogether new directions for the iconic character, and added dimensions for fans both old and new to the Batman mythology,” said Amit Desai, WHV Vice President of Family, Animation & Sports Marketing. “Warner Home Video is proud to release this important series in an all-encompassing box set, just in time to make a perfect holiday gift for the ultimate fan.”

The series is actully out on DvD already, I own each of the Season DvDs already, and have for about a year or so now.

The boxed set is nice, but honestly, I already have all the episodes and the bonus features dont look that too appealing to me.

Batman Beyond was good... I liked the concept... Plus the episode when the old man had to put on the robot suite to save the kid... That was a good one... and the Jokers are no joke...

While I'm at it... Here is my Batman 3 movie in a nut shell...

Batman 3: Knightfall - The movie opens with another night of Batman kicking criminal ass and coming home tired and burnt out... There should be various news reports of his actions and then Bane appears as a hired gun. In the fight Bane breaks Batmans back... thus Batman goes missing...

Here I think they should introduce Nightwing... I think they should skip past Robin with the Christian Bale arc and fast forward to Nightwing... Night wing can get his own movie is the fans like him that much.. which would be good because they could introduce the Teen Titans and maybe move into that franchise... How I would build for that would be Bane would beat the hell out of Nightwing at some point and other Teen Heroes would see Nightwing on the news getting hurt and track him down and pledge to help his cause to fight crime... Before they get a chance to do anything Bruce gets himself together and tells Dick Grayson to stand down, he has a plan and doesn't want to see him get hurt.. which of course offends a hot headed Dick who leaves to be with the Titans...

In the end when Batman comes back to crush Bane, he wears an Ironman like suite with a purposeful dig at Ironman where Christian Bale shows us how Batman would pull that off... This scene would have to be a barn burner where in the end Batman has the opportunity to kill Bane for what he's done but he doesn't... because he's a hero.. News reports that batman just arrested Bane and he's in Arkham and now Gotham respects Batman again because the average person would have killed bane had they been Batman which makes up for the ending of Batman 2 when they made him a sort of villian...

News also reports that there are other so-called heroes out there and poses the question do they know each other and what would happen if they did? The end.

YES!!!!!!!!!!! HALLELUJAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love this show, I grew up watching this on TV every week! Then I'd try and watch Batman The Animated Series! I love this show! I really hope this box set has Batman Beyond: Return of The Joker as a part of it though. I actually met Alan Burnett two years ago at Chicago Comic Con, he's a cool guy.

@UnfriendlySpidey I wish that they would include that too, it really wraps up the series I think. Also one of my favorite JLU episodes.

after arkham city they should do a spin on the "return of the joker" story - i would be soooo down for a Batman Beyond game done by the same people.

or hell this is a movie site... make a movie! but i think a video game company would do more justice to BB than hollywood.

Def going to get this. The box set is like The Batman Animated Series one and that one is so hard to find. Does anybody know where I can find one. My fiance has been trying for a year now. There are a lot of bootleg copies flying around. She bought one off of ebay. Thank god we got our money back. But I would appreciate any help from you guys. Cheers

I love everything Batman he is my favorite comic book hero. But for me Batman Beyond just didnt do it. It always felt kinda corny with the teenage kid in a Hi Tech Bat Suit and Bruce Wayne Standing on the side line with an Oxygen tank and his dog by his side. It was reminiscent of Batman and Robin something I really never liked except for All STAR BATMAN and ROBIN the Boy Wonder and A Death in the Family.

One of the things I like most about Bruce Wayne is his Dark Nature because as much as he wants Revenge and shows his hatred for the criminals he is hunting, He really struggles between wanting to kill them so they never harm anyone else and the suffering that he went through due to his parents traumatic death. He doesnt want anyone to suffer as he did. I think that its great how every now and then they write him in a way that allows him to kill without regret.

Anyway...........I didnt like Batman Beyond

Arrion: You have a valid point. Those tie-ins, as well as tie-ins with The Zeta Project (and wasn't there one with Static Shock as well?) should be part of anything calling itself "the complete series". Still need the last season of this show to complete my collection of it.

As for the series itself, I was rather skeptical about it until I actually watched some of the episodes. It was a very clever and imaginative look into a Gotham of the not-too-distant future.

Well there's another item for my Birthday/ Christmas list. Got to agree with ArrionShadow with the whole Justice League tie ins. Those would make the set perfect.

Batman Beyond was great show. I hope I have enough funds in my budget to get this when it comes out.

@DeathWalker- Have you tried the online store at Warner Bros. website? I'm not sure if they would have the box set, but I know they have pretty much every DC animated thing for sale.

Awesome show, absolutely loved every second of this and the original Batman the Animated Series.

So who'd be up for a BATMAN BEYOND live action movie?
Can anyone see Joseph Gordon Levitt as Terry M? I think he shares some likeness to him in stature and looks. Hopefully in the future it becomes a reality.

I had a feeling they would release this like they did the original Batman: The Animated Series. So glad I didn't buy the dvds seperately and waited for the box set release of Batman Beyond. Warner Bros. LOVES pimping fans this way and I am not working the corner anymore. I will buy this indeed. I just love how everything blends so well between the two series.
